pronoun changes?

i cant speak for others, but any pup i end up selling usually doesnt have lore involved, so usually they dont end up trans. again i cant speak for others, but usually any wolf i sell doesnt have that much of emotion attatched to it. if im getting rid of a wolf that has lore, aka a wolf that might be trans i usually trade it with someone whos aware, but i see what youre getting at!!

^ Agreed! The only wolves who I change pronouns on are ones I am explicitly keeping, and with the current suggestion, you would have to actively seek to change said wolf's pronouns yourself. Plus, any buyer should check what they're buying anyway- consider people who sell t1/t2 wolves as higher tiers than they are, or IB wolves as NIB. It's against wolvden rules to falsely advertise a wolf, and if someone is selling a wolf as female/male, players should already be double checking that it's being properly advertised regardless.

i'm in full support of being able to change the pronouns of our wolves for representation and lore! i can't think of any reasons why it shouldn't be implemented 😅 it has been mentioned a few times that flavor text be adjusted so that they/them pronouns are used for all of our wolves, the same way that those pronouns are used in flavor text for our herbalists. i would personally be ok with that, but i also would love to be able to input what pronouns i want for each of my wolves as well. if purchasing a pup from the TC for breeding purposes, searching wolves by male or female specifically can help reduce any potential confusion! 		wolfyfeelers

^ The TC would still also organize by biological sex, so that would also be an option!

I completely agree that we should be able to change the pronouns of our wolves. I think if a wolf is listed for trade is the biggest issue, then the developers could just make it where when a wolf is listed for trade, they simply change the pronouns to match the wolves sex, and not what you assigned as their gender.

That's a good point, I never have lore on pups I sell. I have bought a wolf with lore before (the owner was den downsizing, and selling a bunch of wolves they had originally intended to keep) but that's less common.

Also @ those saying "it's kind of silly and unnecessary" we have blue wolves. BLUE wolves. If we have weird unnatural colored wolves, I see absolutely zero reason why we can't have this. 		🕯️ Festive Faelcu ❄️

please please PLEASE add this, it physically pains me to see a lot of my wolves addressed with the wrong pronouns, which then leads others to believe that their pronouns are what the game refers to them as- not fun

I've obviously stated my support here before, but I recently had an old stud of mine pass. Her name was Sigrid, and she was a she/her trans stud. And I knew her death was coming, so I was prepared for it, but seeing the death message in my inbox using the wrong pronouns for her was... Kind of a massive, massive oof for me.
Again, even just a blanket "they/them" option would've been so, so, so much more preferable.

tbh maybe it could just clear the pronouns if you have to list a wolf for sale to avoid any mishaps when it comes to trading? c:
