Trophies only drop if you are level 10 or higher, then the enemy (the fox) cannot be more than 5 levels lower than you.

So if you're level 14 and you kill a level 9+ fox you have a chance for the trophy to drop. But if you're level 14 then any enemies lower than level 9 have no chance to drop any trophies.

All that being said, they're just a super rare drop. So even if you are fighting the right level foxes, it's still a pain in the butt to get the trophies.

@Joyce and @Moka I've actually heard that trophies cannot drop from enemies more than 3 levels below you instead of 5 and looking through my activity log that seems to be true. Or if not, then anything below three is very very unlikely.
The higher the fox's level the better your chances are, but it's still super rare. Also foxes only drop pelts and tails that match their color, so make sure you're focusing on red and grey foxes!

Wait so I'm kinda confused, so I trade you a canine fang and then I get to request your stud and get fully refunded? And it's unlimited, or is that only for fox pelts/tails?
