Be able to make lead wolf immortal

someone told me recently we aren’t able to make our lead wolves immortal, which I feel is a total downside. I understand them not being able to be the lead wolf forever, so it would be nice if at retirement/death we are given the option - or even the ability to buy a grove item - to immortalize them after they’ve been removed from the lead wolf role. as some people’s lead wolves have already been retired, it would also be nice if we could pull wolves from retirement to make immortal, maybe only for a certain amount of time though (like reclaiming wolves who have left your pack due to hunger or whatever). my lead is the first wolf I created at the beginning of the game and I modeled her after my first wolf OC, and have spent like 50gc on her markings/base/decor before I realized she will just die anyways and cannot be made immortal:( |

Support! At minimum leads should be able to retire into being immortal. The purpose of immortal slots is to preserve sentimental wolves anyway. IMO retiring shouldn't kill lead wolves at all. I think they should stick around but without the option for them to breed or take on stat based roles. I want my lead to stick around and pupsit his grandchildren after he retires lol |

I support this! I actually didn't know you weren't able to and I literally just customized my lead a bunch to make him less boring today (When I signed up, it seemed tedious to do a bunch of customizing so I mostly ignored it and then ended up regretting it.) Now I'm disappointed because since he's my first wolf ever on this game, I'm a bit attached to him. |

I support this! I put a LOT of GC into my current lead, who is going to be my mascot. It would be nice to be able to keep her, even if at one point she reaches a limit for being able to 'grow' or have pups! Just having her around to be my lead would be good enough for me! <3 |

Oh no! This thread literally just made me realize I won't be able to immortalize my lead. This is the ENTIRE purpose I spent money to buy GC. D: My plan was to breed my first two starter wolves, pick a descendant to be the next lead, and then immortalize both my starters and continue making their lineage my lead wolf from then on. If making them the lead means I won't ever be able to immortalize them afterwards..... well that plan is shit! Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think we were even given an option for our first created wolf to NOT be the pack leader! She was basically condemned to permadeath from the very beginning. Wow, that really sucks! Way to punish sentimentality! 100% total support for either allowing us to use a jellyfish on a dynasty wolf to pull them back from banishment on the hidden dynasty page to the main den page, or changing the definition of "retiring" your lead wolf to "step down from their roll to be a normal pack wolf" like I thought it was so I can immortalize her before she dies, instead of "retiring" meaning "I'm an assassin/murderer who is ""retiring"" my target into the grave." |

This is being suggested over here. Make sure to show your support there! |

Support! For lead wolves and breeding males, it would have the same gameplay function as retiring, except they probably do not enter the pack dynasty as they're not technically dead. As a secondary option to retiring them, it'd be similar to the new pair bonding mechanic being a secondary option to breeding males. If it was introduced I'd use it for my leads, not immediately but once they're nearing 8 years old. Being able to make significant wolves, mainly our leads which many players no doubt customised, is my main interest in immortal slots and it's a much more interesting mechanic to be able to preserve your first wolf, or other similarly significant wolf such as specifically designed ones, onsite in this way. |

Breeding males can be retired without killing them if done through the breeding menu. |

Full Support! I just found out I won't be able to Immortalize my Lead, I spent alot of GC on both her and her mate and I really wanted to keep my initial wolf pair forever! I can still immortalize her mate, but it won't be the same =( |
