Be able to make lead wolf immortal

Full support. You definitely should be able to make your lead immortal, then select a new lead. I'm sure many want this. I feel like this is a serous oversight in my opinion. I might stop playing for awhile too, if this doesn't get implemented soon.

Full support! I was just about to make this post myself until I stumbled upon this one. In my opinion, it's nonsensical that every other wolf can be immortalized, but not the lead. Lead wolves are often very important/sentimental to the player, so why shouldn't they be immortalized? I definitely would have loved to keep my first lead around, as he was the starter of the entire pack.

I support this because some of my friends are also on hiatus to prevent their leads from dying ;;
Just some thoughts about what it’d look like— I can see this feature being kinda similar to retiring a lead wolf early, but unlike retiring it’ll check for free immortal slots in the player’s den and prevent the player from trying to immortalize the wolf if they don’t have any.  I don’t think there would need to be a cooldown attached to it because the high costs of immortal slots serve as a deterrent to going hogwild on that feature already.

Edit:  One thing I’d like, if this feature is ever implemented, is if former leads could be kept out of the pack wolf leaderboard if they become immortal.

I googled this subject because I wasn't sure if you could,  and I am disheartened to hear that you cannot.  Since we cannot save the appearance the same way we can on Lioden,  it would be really nice to have the ability to preserve the wolves altogether like any other wolf,  and since they will be automatically retired anyway there is no legitimate downside to it.

This makes me super hesitant to put a lot of effort into my leads  /  mascots and that is usually something I enjoy.

I planned on making my lead and his mate immortal after they grew old enough to retire form lead and stud, so now upon finding out i will never be able to make my gay bois immortal, im basically gonna freeze my account 2 months before my lead HAS to be retired, i wont return if they never make this feature official. I put so much lore and love into customizing these bois, i refuse to lose them. 		Finge

I am just now finding out that you can not make your lead immortal! I absolutely think you should be able to, like any other wolf in your pack!

i love the idea of making the lead wolf immortal after a lead wolf has been chosen.

i don't see a down side of making your leaf wolf immortal , you would pick a new lead wolf anyway.

Even just an option to retire the day before a solid 8 years at 7 years and 11 1/2 months would be preferable to no option

I'm very sentimental and I plan on immortalizing my first stud, and probably the ones that follow him, but realizing that all my leads will die while their mate lives on in my pack is...kinda tragic xD

Of course you can't have an immortal lead but there should be an option to retire before death day to immortalize them. I'm kinda heart broken that the first wolf I made in the game, and the first wolf to lead my pack, will only be able to live on in my dynasty page

i support. my first lead is Magic. i would love to make her immortal. i couldn't retire her.

even though she is in my Dynasty page. Magic is Immortal according to my pack lore.
