The Problem With Silver Cones

literally just paid 300 SC for 2 food bundles at raccoons and i only got 4 carcasses which came up to 36 uses

that might not even be a days worth of food for my pack and i spent a good chunk of my money on it, i could probably get more uses of food for less at the TC

yet another reason why the spending and earning of SC is so flawed

i know. 

at least for completing the snake quest increase the amount of Sc you gain. i think harder snake quest should   you should earn more SC

for the raccoon increase the SC you get with items you are selling.  

of course if player's shops are added that will help to earn SC too. 

at least we can use our studs to earn some SC

one of the main reasons i customized my stud was so he would be more desirable to other players

dont get me wrong, i love how he looks, but i am happy people are studding him so i can earn some cash

i, however, had to pay real life money to get the gc in the first place to customize him, so that was annoying

i added two more markings to Flame my breeding male , to try and make him more describable to other players. 

please let me know what you think of Flame. 

i know. i used my GC to customize Flame. 

but i'm trying my best to earn SC. i hope earning SC gets easier. 

I think the amount of SC is that you earn was fine when I had very few wolves, but now that I have a lot it's difficult and a lot of hustling. God forbid I'm unable to keep up with the game and fall behind. Slot prices keep going up. I think maybe as you level up, you should be able to earn more money. It's disproportionate to keep earning the same amount as you started. It would give people more incentive to level up up and keep playing. A lot of people seem to just give up when they can't keep up. 

i agree at higher levels you should earn more SC.

Additionally and unrelated to sc (except for selling purposes), it would be nice if the herbalist would find more than 1-2 herbs through foraging. This could also increase as they gain proficiency. My herbalist is at 100% profiency and just came back with only 1 herb. 

i agree at higher proficiency the herbalist should come back with more than two herbs.  

maybe at 100 % proficiency the herbalist should come back with 10 herbs? 

Thought I’d pitch in again. 

My biggest issue is that the amount we can currently earn in game cannot compete with what people can and are spending real money on. It is impossible to make progress for people who can’t afford GC when just playing the game normally. I’m not saying earning SC should be easy or on par with GC because the challenge is what makes it fun and would it would make GC worthless, and if you want to spend GC, by all mean do it. It’s just that earning and saving silver cones is so unbalanced that actually playing to save up is becoming a chore. I’ve been playing daily since the release and have never owned more than several thousand which immediately vanishes again when either expanding or trying to buy items I need from the Raccoon or Trading Center. I just can’t keep up by playing normally when ingredients and items go upwards of 600-1000sc. And what’s making it absolutely unbearable now is that it kind of feels like everyone is competing, for the best markings and rarest bases (don’t even get me started on the foxes) and those who can pay, get there first.

I don’t mean to get off topic, but to jump back on what made me want to start this thread was simply because I just feel like progress should be made reasonable by normal gameplay. Therefore, more and improved ways to earn in game currency.

yes i agree that earning Sc should made easier not the same as GC.
