It's been almost a year. Months, really. I didn't think I would ever need to come back to this, but here we are. Figured I'd make a post here to update everyone. There's been some chatter about why this closed and, unfortunately, the fact that this contest is closed will not be changing. I stepped down from TMT staff for many reasons that will not be discussed and do not wish to discuss. Along with this, the rewards for such contest were rendered unable to be handed out with time and due to the changes with scrying/market, the project at hand was disbanded. We expected more entries also. (EDIT 21:11 -- Double checked. We only had 7 participants. 215GC + 8 other prizes at the time was... well... a lot to split between participants. Especially when, at the time, they were only spending 10SC per scry.) Not only this, the help offered for this contest was not provided. This includes a takeover. All of these things, sadly, are out of my control. If you are looking for someone to takeover the contest (as it was discussed previously, although not followed up upon to my knowledge) or hand out suitable consolation prizes, you are all more than welcome to ask the current TMT staff about the ordeal to see what they think. It would only be courtesy of them. If they wish to continue or not, despite their staff and memberbase being *way* different since last year, then so be it. I do not expect anyone to be bashed or guilted into giving out something they don't want to, especially on Discord/WD/other platforms. That is all I ask. As for myself, I will gladly offer a refunded breeding to my current stud if desired. It's all I can do. Frankly, I'm a little disheartened that this contest did not go the way that was desired and wasn't continued on. I wish it hadn't come to this point and I'm sorry for letting all of you down. What is done now is up to the current members and has been since I left. Thank you for reading. //mobile |
