Forum formatting not working?

I have the issue of my forum post formatting not sticking when I post/edit.

Bold, italic, etc. works just fine, but things like centering the text, or inserting a horizontal ruler don't work. Changing the font size also doesn't work correctly on my end, as changing it even just to 8 causes the text to be enormous.

I searched the help forum, but couldn't find a topic about this, apologies if there's already one that I didn't find!

I think both centering and the horizontal ruler are bugged. I kinda remember having seen reports about them.
