Chased Wolves should remain in the pool for a set amount of time (editted!)

I think something to consider with the edited suggestion is that Chased wolves aren't just wolves people bred and raised to chase, but also regular NBWs that people are done with and chase. Like, for a bit I was befriending every male NBW I saw with a very visible marking, because I wanted a male wolf with a high-percentage marking in Slot 9. Since I couldn't discern what slot the visible marking was in, I had to befriend everything and chase off anything that didn't match my criteria, potentially adding a lot of random NBWs into the Chased pool. Some of those wolves were hideous, some early ones (when I was just trying to find anything with a Slot 9 marking) were really plain. Those wolves shouldn't clog up the Chased pool when no one wants them. Keeping all Chased wolves in the pool until a month has passed or until they're befriended will only make finding interesting Chased wolves even harder. Because people will befriend wolves that look like they aren't NBWs, even just to see what they are or if they can sell them, but far fewer will befriend regular NBWs, leaving them in the pool (or even befriending them due to the shooting star, realizing they're nothing special, and re-chasing, letting them clog up the pool for even longer. Which already happens, to be fair). |

TBH I think the pool SHOULD be bigger and it SHOUD be harder to find special wolves, that's sort of why the pool should be bigger, and part of the reason people chase wolves to begin with. If the wolves get deleted anyway, it won't really clog things up any more than they already are, and if an NBW was already out in the chased pool for say, 7 rollovers, then once he's chased back into that pool, he'd only remain in the pool for 17 days. I'm sure they'll keep generating new NBWs so its unlikely that the pool will ever just be fancy chased wolves, you'll get ugly cheeto wolves regardless, but it should at least feel like a treasure when you come across one. Like coming across a pokemon in a cave that's NOT zubat or diglett. You know there's a jigglypuff or aron in there somewhere, you just gotta find it. |

I think that wolves that are FAILED should remain in the pool, if staff goes with this suggestion. Wolves that are just skipped for being NBWs should not. |

Oooh that's a great stipulation! I'll add that =3 |

Big support for the new changes! I will occasionally raise a nice looking pup to adulthood just to chase so having them not get deleted off one failed attempt would be good to see |

TBH given the sheer number of times I've run into what appears to me to be the same random Gold wolf with zero markings (I'd say this is about 25% of my NBW encounters and it's ALWAYS GOLD), I'd rather the pool be largely populated by bred and raised chased wolves anyway. Rando NBWs that are acquired and chased, by all means delete them off the game. |

I'd really like it if this were a thing. I am working my way slowly through level 14 on my lead wolf, and I haven't seen a single chased wolf. Plus, I like the idea of giving wolves more than one opportunity to be friended -- there is such a diversity of styles on this site that I think it would be beneficial. I'm up for it being a 5 strikes you're out of the pool alternative though -- if the wolf is rejected or the encounter failed 5 times (or some similar number) then the wolf is deleted. Having a cutoff number is still valid, because it may take less desirable wolves out of the mix. This is a great idea -- thank you for sharing, and for updating it to reflect the new info! |

Heavily support. I made a massive error and chased a Fox a few weeks back. It either wasn't added to the Befriend pool or a newbie who couldn't tell it was a t3 saw it, because no NBW with Fox base has been seen or posted. I searched her markings multiple times over two weeks, and she never reappeared. Given how plain some chased wolves are, there NEEDS to be a way to catch actual special wolves and make sure they're offered to other players. This random maybe ain't good enough. It'd be pretty easy to filter - It's essentially just the same filter they use for special NBWs. Base t2 (or t3), glass eyes, and/or special marks. Honestly I'd say *any* wolf with at least six marks should be pulled into the chased pool regardless of anything else, but even just using the yellow star criteria would be enough. Chased wolves are way too rare, and knowing you only have *one* chance ever is just way too bad. |

Support: Imagine not having the gc to auto befriend a T3 and it just gets deleted after you fail the interactions |
