Description: Lydia is around average height. Her hair reaches down to about the middle of her back and it is wavy dark brown and black. Her eyes are pretty much a dark hazel and her skin is permanently tanned. Lydia wears a white top with slightly puffed sleeves, a little more fancier than most as a nod to her land remaining adopted mother, loose and unrestricting brown pants with a black belt over a red scarf tied around her waist. The belt has various pockets for small weapons, sometimes poisons, a small book and pen and a compass and map. It also has a sheath for her cutlass. 

Personality: Very independent, stubborn, headstrong. You can't really start a fight and expect to leave unharmed, or sometimes alive. But she is also kind, sweet, loyal and gentle. Lydia does not like kids. If there are children on the boat, she will avoid them if possible. The shifter is also very sneaky. Sly and cunning lead her to be rather a nuisance when she's bored, because she will take other pirates' things. But always returns them later with a lopsided grin and a semi apology.

Background: Lydia lost her birth parents and another woman quickly brought her in. The woman, Marianna, taught her to cook, sew, all of that. However Lydia ran away. Not exactly ran away, she told Marianna where she was going, but she headed to a bigger city. And soon discovered her love for the ocean. After sneaking around as a cat a few times a week, Lydia found a ship that was looking for more crew. So she joined. First as one of the crew, second as their mascot and cat. It was a boat that did trips every year. One was to the other countries, the forests, jungles, where some were beginning to bring a touch of civilization. The others depended on the rest of the passengers. For the rest of the year however, they did whatever they pleased.

Shifted Form: A black and dark brown tabby, with white ear tufts, white tipped tail, and one white paw. In some parts of her fur, golden and blonde furs glisten.

Shade looked around quietly. Thinking of what he shall do today not expecting anyone to come around

Lydia yawned widely, heading to the edge of the boat to look over into the waves. They had only just departed, two or so days ago, and it was already full of screaming kids, tired adults and the crew. Only a few travellers were here, and one was almost certainly a shifter as well. Definitely cat. Leaning on the rail, she considered the list of jobs to do today. One was to clean up some of the traveller's cabins. Yeah, definitely a no. That could wait. Two was to find a menu of sorts for one of the bratty families... yeah. That was decent. Lydia yawned again and remained at the railing, too lazy to go do it now.

Shade sighed deeply going to look out over the edge of the boat. He noticed women oh God gotta go this way. He went to another side of the boat away from them

Lydia noticed one man, much taller than she was, rushing away from her. Flicking an eyebrow up she headed inside jauntily, trying to find the chef who always seemed to disappear when anyone needed him.

Shade hoped the woman hadnt noticed him he got very shy around women to be honest 

Lydia finished her tasks pretty quickly and headed out to the main deck. She climbed out onto the figurehead, watching the animals below. It was always boring when there were other people around. Ugh.

Hours later, most passengers had gone to sleep and the crew were taking their positions for the night. Lydia shifted quickly and made her way onto the stacked boxes and began to clean her paws off while also watching over some of the passengers who remained on deck.

Shade sat quietly on deck he sat...thinking man he did want to shift but not until some of the other passengers were gone. He quietly and impatiently waited for them to leave. He decided that in a few moments if they didn't leave he would find somewhere away from them to shift 

Most of them began to trickle away, leaving just the tall one and one other. Lydia purred slightly and lay down, eyes flicking over the area in front of her.
