It took about fifteen minutes, but Lydia escaped downstairs and shifted. The kids were running down after the cat and turned around very quickly when they saw the very uncatlike pirate. Lydia laughed to herself and ignored them, heading to the figurehead again. It was quietest there. |

It was crowded and dim downstairs. Okay, maybe he had the right idea. Lydia grabbed a plate of... fish or something and headed back up, moving to an area half hidden by boxes. She moved one aside and settled against the wall, hidden yet able to see most of the deck. |
