Shade now stood there watching her from where he could see her

A stray rope flew over her head and she grabbed it again, retying it quickly before making her way back into the underdeck thing. She opened the door, letting Shade go in first before closing it behind her.

Shade sighed softly running his fingers through his wet hair

"Well, we're heading away from the storm. Good luck to them up there, they'll be on vomit duty." Lydia laughed and headed down the corridor to find some towels, handing two to Shade and keeping the other two.

Shade gave a soft laugh."thanks.."

"All good." Lydia replied with a small smile. She headed back to the bench, wrapped in towels, and sat back down, watching the waves out of a small window.

Shade sat down drying his shaggy wet hair off."God its like a mop.." he muttered 

Lydia took her hair out, attempting to dry it off. Why bother,she'd probably go back up again. She realised with a small laugh.

Shade gave up on trying to dry his hair and was now staring at her

Lydia looked at him, eyebrows raised. "Your ma ever teach you it's rude to stare?"
