then they go out to finish that day's patrol and she finds pip, but finchpaw sees her finding pip across the border and runs over, trying to see if its a windclan kit

they have a little argument and finchpaw finds out its really not a windclan kit because it doesn't smell like windclan and is too old so he apologizes to palepaw or something and he gets feels for her first

BUT palepaw only has tiny feels for nimble rn

(and a bit later in the rp maybe finchpaw finds out she likes nimble and gets a bit jelly-jelly---)
