And with that, we say goodbye to A Roll In Red Clay and her final litter. At 6 years 11 months, she'll be too old to breed again by the time her cooldown is up. This is the first time I've chased a female with puppies, and it feels a little sad, but I have to be ruthless with my territory space and food. I have zero qualms about chucking all these Magnolias though. |

He sure is! I studded to him a few days ago, not sure if I want to try again. Seems I've used up all my Wolvden luck on Tombac and carrier NBWs. |

After I got faked out by that Jacinthe pup the other day, I decided to see how close I could get to faux Piasa in the wardrobe. PUPPOCALYPSE 2 THE SQUEAKQUEL happens at rollover! \o/ |

18 more puppers, let's see what we've got. 7. Almond: At Least It's Not Magnolia! 9. Honeydew is a good base, actually 10. Boring Beige 16. Plain Yellow All in all, we actually got some pretty nice looking pups out of this round, breeding outside of Warm Light to my regular wolves produced some nice results even if they aren't TIII. I might even keep some of these until they wean. |

More pups today! 2. Ducat takes after her granddad 3. Tumbleweed is the new Magnolia 5. There's one in every litter I put a breakdown on page 1 of the thread of all the bases produced so far. Somehow I've gotten more Magnolia than Gold, Gold Lighter, Gold Darker, and Goldenrod combined. Was considering selling Bee's first Tombac pup, but I may keep her and change my strategy yet again by breeding her to Milo or another Piasa stud. tbh I could have done this when Bee was born but at the time I wasn't anticipating TIII stud prices to fall quite so fast, and I didn't know when a nice Piasa stud would become available in my budget range. I still think it would be really cool to breed my own instead of studding to an existing wolf... but I'm getting impatient. |
