Google sheet updated with all info so far! If possible, check the sheet linked in the start of the thread before submitting info! You might save time from sharing things we already know. That said, ANY new info helps! A common fish in a new biome or a different weather than before - it's all good and welcome! |

i'm glad the data consolidation worked out!! i'll just keep on going with that then :3 so here is my data haul for today! it looks like you have the time of day and weather info already for most of these fish, but i now have a lot of size and delicate meat info too! FISH: Flier FISH: Flier FISH: Redear Sunfish FISH: Redear Sunfish FISH: Swamp Darter FISH: Sailfin Molly FISH: Sailfin Molly FISH: Bonytail Chub FISH: Bonytail Chub FISH: Speckled Dace FISH: Red Shiner FISH: Red Shiner FISH: Rio Grande Cichlid FISH: Rio Grande Cichlid FISH: Flame Chub FISH: Shorthead Redhorse FISH: Shorthead Redhorse FISH: Redspotted Sunfish FISH: Redspotted Sunfish FISH: Sacramento Blackfish FISH: Sacramento Blackfish FISH: Warmouth FISH: Desert Sucker FISH: Arroyo Chub FISH: Arroyo Chub FISH: California Newt FISH: California Newt FISH: Rio Grande Cutthroat Trout FISH: Yaqui Catfish as a side note, i compared my size and delicate meat data with the weekly leaderboards that are organized by fish type, and am guessing that you could roughly guess the threshold for obtaining delicate meat based on taking the weight of the heaviest fish on the leaderboard and dividing by 2. i'm basing this off of the news post saying that fish in the top 50% weight of their weight category will get a delicate meat reward, meaning that there's probably an upper limit on how heavy certain fish can get, and that people on the leaderboards have probably already found fish close to that limit. at the very least, this checks out with the size data i've gathered on certain fish (which you can especially see with the sacramento blackfish, swamp darter, shorthead redhorse, sailfin molly, and california newt data). what's especially exciting about this is that i'm predicting that 1.5oz is the exact minimum weight for the swamp darter to give out a delicate meat reward, which also happens to be the exact weight of one of my submitted swamp darters (for which i got a delicate meat). i'll see if i can find a swamp darter just beneath that weight to confirm, and if so, we may have found not only the minimum weight for the swamp darter, but also for any fish that falls in it's weight category! hope that's helpful! :3 edit: ok, so as it was just explained to me in a different thread, the above method won't be incredibly accurate since it assumes that the lower bound of fish would be 0, which wouldn't make sense, so it'll only be good for a ~rough~ estimate of what the 50% threshold would be. so if anything, it's a good number to look at when determining whether to submit or throw a fish for data collection to eventually find that threshold. |

Sheet updated! I moved my pack to Taiga so I got a bunch of data from that biome into the chart. My hb is moving his to Tundra to help out as well, so right now Coniferous Forest, Swamp and Rainforest are the biomes with no data available. |

Sheet updated! Thanks to Kas for the fish images, I've started inserting the images onto the sheet. I'm using the same url path but it'll take a while to get all of them in due to the sheer amount of fish and their cruesomely long names. |
