Petition to Change 1 Fish per 10 Minutes -> 144 Fish per day

From the POV of someone who isn’t a fishing competitor or even any kind of competitive WD player at all: I gotta say, a lot of this is valid, but I’m curious how it would suddenly make a ton of people not care about playing it properly or strategizing LMAO. I could do the same thing right now with the ten minute cap if I didn’t care or was short on time— just spam common small fish— but why would I do that? Delicate meats + legendaries + etc are extremely useful and necessary to maximize what you can get from the game regardless of any SC cap. They mean extra SC and can help sustain my pack. Delicate meats aren’t hard to get in my experience, and I’ve even managed to find legendaries. 

Plus I’m sure some people would hypothetically still want to get on the leaderboard and have a high score, if that was kept ROFL

If someone doesn’t bother to learn how to play it, and it’s therefor boring to them... why wouldn’t they either just learn how to play it right or not play at all? How does that affect the people who do bother to strategize? Why not let everybody do what they want as their time restrictions and real life obligations allow them to? D;

Support, I abhor the way the fishing is currently set up. Honestly I’m not trying to”relax” by playing the fishing game, I’m doing to to try to earn a measly SC or 2. 

Honest question, I see a lot of people mentioning the fishing leaderboards... do you get anything from the leaderboards? A trophy or a prize? (Because I honestly don’t know, I never check any type of leaderboard). If not, who cares? The same people who are on the leaderboard have the time to be on here every 10 minutes to submit a fish, so why wouldn’t they also be on it when you can submit your fish without the arbitrary time limit?

You earn 5-50 SC for appearing in daily leaderboard. The reward increases linearly as you take higher positions.

I'm ambivalent about the "time vs submissions" argument (I got my 100SC fairly easily today, but I also didn't have classes today, and imo that's the nature of the game). I also don't think I'll ever get on the leaderboards, so ^^" I'll let the competitive players argue that point.

That said, I 100% support implementing a hold system - while I haven't lost anything big yet, it's frustrating to have to keep the tab up, especially on mobile ;u;

I could be wrong, but it's likely that the ten minute timer is due to server strain issues

@3737 That does seem likely, but if that were the case, why aren't there also timers for things like making trades in the tc? If rapid submissions cause strain on the servers, would that not be the case through out the site? This is a genuine question, I'm not 100% on how servers work aslkjgkj

Tbh I thought it's weird that there also isn't a CD on trades to reduce trade spamming. You really would think there would be. But I was thinking it might be the case because while being only supposed to play the game in one window might help cheesing, it also sounds like a "strain protection" kind of thing as well

#3737 I figured that message was just to avoid players "forcing" a glitch for cheesing, but maybe if there is server strain that might make sense. That'll be for the devs ig to figure out, whether or not the site can handle it, I suppose, the suggestion's still here, but if for any reason the servers couldn't handle it I'd hope they'd tell us as much when/if they get to this suggestion.
