the first wolf [separate these in their individual posts. add some illustrations. and also more details] at first, the world was dark and covered in ice. there was no life but then there the wind started to dance and created the first wolf out of snow she was pure and innocent and her breath created more life: wolves and bears and foxes and elks. from her fallen furs came the grass and trees. her tears formed the rivers and lakes. her singing made mountains and valleys. but the world was still dark and cold. using the rest of her magic, she tried to light up the sky and turned herself into the Moon. but it wasnt enough. it was still dark. her creations carried on. they used the magic they were born with, her magic, and they grew. they explored the world and made it their own. all except for one. a silver moth, who had fallen in love with the first wolf, was overcome with grief. she wanted to join her. but she wasnt pure. her motivations were selfish and it poisened her magic. instead of going up to the sky, she turned into a ball of fire and covered the world in red. her heat burned every blade of grass, every buzzing bee, every fish in the lakes those were the first deaths. |

edit actually i should write out what happens b4 i forget even more than i already have. like i have no idea what the first deaths/the fire/the ashes even are LMAO so. silver moth sees an elder killing a common wolf, freaks out, runs away and joins the golden sun. she doesnt understand it yet but the elder was sort of like. absorbing the wolf's life so his magic could grow stronger (which is how royal elders suddenly get super powerful. once a royal wolf becomes of age the elders reveal this to them, and if they also freak out and threaten to run, the use their ~magical powers~ to make them change their mind. tho moth managed to escape b4 that happened) in her new pack, moth makes friends, grows up, becomes leader etc Meanwhile in the northern kingdom the elders are kinda freaking out bc when moth ran she ran like. super fast. like, she shouldnt have been able to run that fast without killing another wolf and consuming their soul. so the elders Seriously wanna find her bc her magics so powerful. they send patrol after patrol after her but none succeed. they decide theyre just going to one last wolf, frozen lakes, and if he cant find her, then its because silver storm herself doesnt want them to one night a blue wolf shows up in the cave of the golden sun pack. her name is monday (old english, day of the moon). she asks to stay for a while bc shes been traveling and is rly tired and moth lets her. they start talking become rly close, kiss kiss fall in love -pause for monday's backstory cuz idk if shell moth about it yet- she was raised by humans who bought her when she was a puppy but then she grew up and became dangerous. one day they were playing with her and she bit one her owners a bit too hard. they left in the house for a really long time while the owner was in the hospital and when they came back they just shoved her in the car and then dumped her on a forest. she still has a collar with her name and address written on it. her fur is blue because...? they dyed her with permanent dye? she came from a breeder that had been selectively breeding for wolves with bluer and bluer coats? something like that idk -end backstory- frozen lakes arrives at the pack of the golden sun. he talks to moth with silver wings, who refuses to admit shes silver moth and. um im not so sure about the next bit. somehow moth and monday fight, monday convinces frozen lakes to lead her to the northern kingdom, once there she tells them how Men used to worship her, give her food, pet her, groom her fur. as proof she shows them her collar and claims she was sent by Men to lead them the northern kingdoms like. welp okay. and now i dont remember how but i do remember monday makes the elders heat the caves too much so that the ice falls and kills everyone in the kingdom except her and like. maybe three others. i cant remember how exactly she does that? maybe she like gets in an argument with the elder council or whatever and they get so mad that they lose some control of that. this is literally the only reason i chose dominics interlude to be the northern kingdom's theme song lol ("the towers in your world are sinking") wait actually i think monday dies. yeah pretty sure she dies. the cave walls shaking and the icicles falling and all the tunnels, it all confuses her and she ends up getting lost and dies when the kingdom falls. its just frozen lakes and a couple other common wolves. they decide to go to the pack of the golden sun, because even though she refuses to admit it, moth is the last member of the royal family so they want her to lead them (side note on their way to the northern kingdom monday told frozen lakes moth with silver wings really was silver moth. moth told her everything abt the northern kingdom when they were together, which is how monday knew to say that stuff about Men) frozen lakes leads the group to the pack and when they get there he tells moth about the kingdom falling and monday. shes so shocked that everyone she knew from her childhood is dead, her home no longer exists, monday's betrayal that she just. explodes? her emotions are too much and her magic bursts out of her in a bright shining light that destroys everything around her (actually im pretty sure this is "the fire") im gonn a eat ill finish this some other time therees some wolves that ran away and i didnt have the sc to get them back but i still wanna write down their names just as like. a little reminder that they existed, even if i dont even have any screenshots or remember what they looked like lol. and also the list of names in the main post is getting kinda long so i just wanna leave like, the wolves i imagined were actually there when monday arrived and everyone else ill move here. again just so i can remember theyy existed from the northern kingdom: clear sky white whiskers from the pack of the golden sun: Water that Runs Down Stream (herbalist) wave that climbs shore (pupsitter) Lily in Small Pond (pupsitter) Mountain that Rises to Sky (pupsitter) Tree that Fell in Storm (pupsitter) Feather that Falls from Nest (dawn hunter) Yellow Sky of Sunrise (dawn hunter) Root Warmed by Sunshine (dusk hunter) |
