Fishing game: accessibility

Fishing game: accessibility

Hey team!

I’m absolutely in love with the new fishing game! That being said, the eye strain usually prevents me from playing too often. In order to spot the ripples on the water, I usually need to move the screen to about half the distance I do for normal browsing (both on phone and laptop) and maximize brightness. The end result leaves me headachey and squinting.

I would like to propose a toggleable accessibility feature that changes or overlays the ripples graphic to a higher contrast green circle, or something similar. My hope is that a brighter or more visually distinct image, while perhaps less visually appealing, will make the game more playable for people like me with worse eyesight.

Thanks!

Support! The audio cue for ripples is also far too quiet for accessibility purposes. It's barely discernable even in normal weather, and forget about it in the rain.

support!!!

Due to sensory issues I need to keep my screen brightness low, and the ripples further away from the player in particular are basically impossible for me to spot without almost pressing my face to the screen 😭

Support!! I'm not vision impaired myself, but fishing at night is extremely difficult, I can barely see the ripple spots, and often end up waiting several minutes before I find one!! I think even just making it brighter white during the night would help? During the day, I agree a bright green or cyan would be good!! I might make a mock up of different times and ripple colors later to help find a good way to do it while still having it look realistic

please! even a louder splash would help - that's how i fish in most other games, like animal crossing.

Support! I'm not even vision impaired (at least, not close up) and trying to find the ripples in weather conditions like nighttime rain is headache inducing. I have quit playing the fishing game when it's night in WD unless I have a quest, and even then I just get the required fish and leave

Huge support. I am someone who is also visually impaired, and I can only fish on mobile at specific times of the day. Any other time I can't see the ripples at all, and even best case it's about a 50-50 for me.

A toggle-able exclamation point mark or something would be a huge help.
