spock's 1x1 rp search (updated 11/13!)

hi there, i'm spock and my pronouns are he / they. it's been a long time since i've rped, but i'm motivated to start again. so as a warning: my writing skills might be a bit rusty. as for my roleplaying history: i've been browsing boards online and writing for a little over a decade now!

what i'm looking for: a 1x1 rp, either through wolvden boards or email. whatever works for you! i like romance and i mainly write male or masc-presenting characters who happen to be bi or gay. (i <3 trans/enby ocs). otherwise, i'm open to trying anything else. enemies to lovers is one of my favourite tropes and unconventional pairings in general. romance does not have to be our main plot point. i also enjoy sci-fi, fantasy, adventure, historical, horror, westerns, fantasy, and more. typically, i rp humans and humanoids, but wolves, dogs and cats are great, too. i don't rp outside of my original characters. i do like the warrior cats, stardew valley, harry potter, star trek and the magicians universes. so, if you want to base our rp in one of those universes, i'd be happy to make that happen.

what to know before you reply: i am introverted and anxious. i spend a lot of time thinking about my replies and responses. i do a lot of research to make my writing as accurate as possible. i consider myself semi-lit to literate in skill. as for my availability: i have a job and usually work 4 days a week with a bit of a haphazard schedule. my timezone is pacific, however i don't really sleep so i'll be online whenever i want. i would like to make new friends and talk with the people i write with, but i'm not upset if i don't end up doing just that. i'm just a little hard to get to know at first.

plots and ideas.

triggers warnings: let me know what to exclude from my writing, if you have any triggers!

sci-fi: basically anything to do with space. aliens, star trek, space pirates, epic space operas, astronauts, etc. inspiration includes jupiter ascending, the alien series, roswell nm, or pacific rim... trapped on a ship or planet while being hunted down by aliens or struggling to survive and make life on a new planet. giant fighting robots are not off the table. lately i've also been into a modern perspective on aliens in a small town kind of way. such as, aliens secretly living amongst everyday humans with fluff and drama.

western: anything with gay cowboys and i'm in. i like guns and horses and the wild west. the local town sheriff and cowboy falling reluctantly in love kind of thing. i have a few characters i would like to try-out in this setting.

zombies: relatively modern day zombie apocalypse based in some famous american city. maybe one of our ocs thinks they are the last one left. lot's of spooky scenarios. have one or two ocs already suited for this kind of rp.

historical: this one is pretty wide reaching, but i just want some fancy victorian boys to pine over one another and get into some political scandal where hijinks inevitably ensue. alternatively, an active war setting interests me.

modern fantasy: teens and young adults grapple with their newfound powers and oppressive magical system set in place with society! i also like modern day lycanthropy and vampirism. (this includes 'harry potter' and 'the magicians', if you'd like to base our rp off that.)

slice of life: i enjoy a good simple slice of life rp sometimes. i enjoy small town settings, including college towns and rural farming towns. maybe one of our ocs is new to town or our ocs have been best friends since we were kids. lot's of fun drama and romance to rp! (this includes the 'stardew valley' universe, if you'd like to base our rp off that.)

feral: anything set in the warrior cats universe. i have some pretty extensive clan ideas and settings for these, so if you're interested i'm happy to share. wolves and dogs count, too! let me know if you have any other ideas for this.

Hello! I've never done 1x1 rp before but gay cowboys or zombie apocalypse characters sound really fun! I think I am a decent writer, and I've been toying with the idea of starting a little webcomic so I think rp might be good to practice my writing skills! I get it if you want a more experienced person, but I'm free to try out ^ ^

I really love all the ideas that are indeed on the table and I think you are super creative! I really enjoy the thought of a Harry Potter-themed/magician type of world, but I also really love the idea of every single other one you mentioned. I tend to play both male and female characters, but I'll do any pairing that you would like! I really really really, like really enjoy the enemy to lovers trope and things that involve two enemies being forced to survive together, and falling in love. I have no huge preference of whether romance is the main plot or not, I just like to go with the flow and see where the writing takes the plot! As for my schedule, I do online classes from around 8 to 3 PST, depending on the class, but I'll still be on every hour to hunt, scout, explore, and such, so I'll be sure to catch a response sometime throughout the day, I also make sure to reply within a timely manner, but like you, I tend to do research and make sure that everything in my reply is as accurate as humanly possible.

Also, a little bit about my experience: I have been roleplaying on many different forumn sites iclunding lioden and boards2go, and  have been rping for a total of 5 years now I believe. I used to mainly do feral characters, but now I learn towards human/humanoid characters, especially that in a fantasy setting. I have 4 humanoid OCs, which include 2 shapeshifters,1 werewolf, and 1 demigod. I also have three human OCs, one male, two female and too many feral characters for me to count. I'd be happy to alter one of my OCs for the roleplay to fit the theme!

Hey! I’d love to do a western based rp, specifically enemies to lovers with you, if you’d be interested. Here’s a little information about me:

• I answer to any variation of the name Tree Yiska and go by any pronoun.
• My time zone is CST but I tend to stay up. 
• i consider myself to be semi-lit to literate, my typical rp post are between 2-5 paragraphs, but I tend to mirror those of my partners. So if I get a three page essay, I’ll send three pages back. If I get two paragraphs, I’ll send two in return. Timewise, my replies can take a while since I also tend to research to make sure what I’ve written is accurate.
• I’m comfortable with playing any gender and any pairing, but my favorites are MxM, FxF, and anything with non-binary characters. 
• Rp wise, I’ve got no triggers! I’m good with most themes, including mature, but my absolute favorites are romance, fluff, and hurt/comfort. I typically rp ferals(wolves and felines both), but I’d be more than happy to do some humanoid based rps(such as supernatural beings like werewolves, shifters, etc... or humans in general)
