Lila's HTML Guide (Including Forum Tables!)

Posted 2020-10-24 10:23:48

@ Jefenech

Near the beginning of the code you'll add the image!

<table style="width:100%;height:auto;border:1px solid #000;background:url(image URL);">

Like so :D Keep in mind that you'll have to save your entire code elsewhere because using images more than once in a post breaks it. So just to be safe save everything you write/code on notepad or something similar to save your progress!

@ Kaze Hello!

Did you paste the image code in Code View? The </> symbol on the script editor! Unfortunately it won't work if you're in the regular comment box of your post.

I cannot seem to get the linked image to work. I have tried to paste it using the </> but it just shows up completely blank and white. Am I doing something wrong or pasting it in the wrong area? Thank you for this guide overall.

@Wolfhunter It's not working because you can't make a link an image! That URL you used is a link to a wolf, not an image.

@Mags (Lights ON) Can you show me exactly what you're putting in the code?

@Ashlynn You'll have to go to "New Post" in the top left corner on Imgur, then choose the image from your files and it will upload. Don't copy the link until it says "Upload Complete" though!

@Ashlynn I don't know a ton about HTML but you should right-click the picture and then select "open image in new tab" then copy the Url on that tab. (This is sort of a lie... I took a coding course this summer... I kind of know a bit of HTML)

I also have a question for you... technically I could ask a lot of people but... how do you change your profile picture?
