Yup, going off what @BonesintheYard says you can request artwork of the mascot even if you didn't win! (It would be greatly appreciated c:) The only caveat is that it is going to be assumed that any artwork bought/made featuring the mascot that is not purchased by the winner of the design, was done so with the intention of allowing all members (or at least the Mystical Beasts team) to post the piece on-site, as well as off-site, just make sure to credit not only the artist but also the maker of the mascot design.

You will still own the art piece (after all you commissioned it/made it), however, since the design itself will technically have two owners (the winner of the contest and Mystical Beasts) it would be assumed that any artwork requested would be for community use.

Ladies and Gentlemen! I think I have kept you all waiting long enough, so now I have the great honour of unveiling our beautiful, magical, mystical mascot. It was a tough race between the runner up and our mascot, so I watched eagerly as the votes were counted. Now then let's get on with it!
