A year ago, A plague hit. Most of humankind parished. Dogs become strays and lost there domestication value. Wolves invited these dogs into their families, hoping they could become stronger together. With so many dogs and wolves competing for territory and food you need to stay with a group for your own protection.The woodland belongs to alpha Silver and his family. Their pack is known as the blue howlers. But a new threat enters the lands. They are claiming new area of their own. They are wolves and dogs that call themselves the Outlasters. Lead by female leader, Valravn, they try to over power the howlers so they can lead in the new era. It looks like both packs will have to use some sense, justice, power, and most of all friendship.

Along with the howlers and outlasters competing, Humans are capturing the canines. Torturing them with ropes and cages for their own survival. Can two groups of enemies put aside their differences and push back against a common enemy, or will they be forever fight amongst themselves for all the woods has to offer?

Rules:

1. Wolvden rules apply. Make sure you follow them.

2. If you want you can put a picture of your character on character sheets. It's not required.

3. You may write as much as you like but the minimum is 1 sentence.

4. Any questions please pm me.

5. You can only have three pups and you must have enough characters to play as them. However, If you find a litter of pups you can keep however many you like.

6. You cannot create another pack other then the ones given without my permission.

7. If your character becomes the Alpha of a pack PM me the name and ranks of your new pack so I can post it on the pack thread.

8. You can have a total of 4 characters.

9. There's a Limit on wolf-dog characters. Don't get mad if you have to change it.

10. Ask the person before killing their character.

11. Tell me if your not roleplaying anymore so I can change the ranks for others.

12. Your own characters can't mate But Friendships and Family bonds are fine.

13. Put your Characters Name/Age/Sex/Breed/Pack(if you're part of one) at the top of each post. (All of these are required, You can add more though.)

14. Realistic characters. No powers or odd colors/markings. (Lightning bolts, clouds, etc.)

15. Give everyone a chance to reply.

16. The alphas and beta make the rules, not you.

17. Don't ask for a rank already taken

18. Do NOT start to roleplay with my permission. I'll pm you.

Blue Howlers Ranks:

Alpha Male: The main leader of the pack. He will work with the Alpha Female to make important pack decisions. He can also change the ranks members in the pack.

Alpha Female: The Alpha Female is second only to the Alpha Male, even though each is treated with the same respect by the pack. The Alpha pair work together to make decisions about the pack. She can also change ranks in the pack at any time.

Beta: Takes over the duties of an Alpha if they are unable to give orders, or if the Alpha dies. Also helps the lead hunter and protectors

Lead Hunter: Keeps stock over all the food, making sure enough is being distributed and stored for winter.

Healer: Healers are the canines that make sure their pack doesn't get disease or injury. They have an knowledge of herbs and use it to keep packmates safe and healthy.

Protectors: Protectors of the pack, patrol the borders of the territory at least once a day as well as making sure intruders don't attack.

Hunters: Gather food for the pack, they make sure there is enough food for everyone in the pack.

Den Mothers: These are female who are expecting pups and care for them when the mother is gone.

Pups: The youngest members of the pack, either found and adopted by the pack, or born into the pack.

Omegas: This is the lowest rank of the pack. An Alphas can make the Omega change any position. As a result if the position chosen is already taken the person will take the Omegas place.

Outlasters Pack ranks:

Alpha: Leader of the pack. Arranges celebrations, daily schedules, rules, ranks, and formations during times of war. She is the frontline fighter in any scenario except when she is nursing unweaned pups. In that scenario, her mate takes her place in battle.

Beta: The second in command and godmother of the alpha's pups, if there is any. She not only enforces the rules, but attends the formal meetings between alphas. If the alpha female dies, the beta female will take her place and mate if she does not have one.

Healer: The rare few dogs and wolves who know this ancient skill are honored for it. They use the herbs, clay, flowers, and other material of the world to heal serious wounds. They are in charge of the omegas.

Lead Hunter: The one who delivers the killing bite in a hunt. They have a deep understanding of what part of the prey helps build strong muscles, give the best nutrients to growing pups, helps build needed fats and so on, and ration the meat accordingly.

Ranger: The boarder patrol of the pack. They mark the territory and watch for unfamiliar faces who may enter it.

Hunter: The supporting hunters of the pack. They work alongside rangers to keep track of where the herds are moving.

Omega; Whether it is due to a crippling condition, lackluster fighting skills, or an anger management problem, these canines are assigned to recognise the members of the pack who may be feeling sick,tired, or sad and assist them. They gather herbs for the healer, lick wounds, hunt, or fill in for injured hunters.
