hi !! i had a couple questions ! if changing the background, where would it go in the code and what would the pixel dimensions of the picture need to be ? and does the picture need to be uploaded to a place like imgur first ? also where/what would I put to change colors ?

Hello! :D
In order to change the background, you have to go into the CSS code itself and a bit of basic coding knowledge is needed.
After downloading any of my codes, you can open and edit them with most text programs, but I recommend Window's Editor program (or equivalent apps on other devices) as that program can save the file as a .css itself after you've made changes.

I highly recommend checking out this thread - it's a guide to CSS coding and everything I know I've learned from that guide. It'll tell you what to look for in the code, how to change it, how to preview what you've done to see if it looks right, etc.

It'll be much more useful to you than me trying to explain what the heck to do
