Jewel worked on small things in the back. " Once we get done here we can head back to my place and relax. Just a few more hours" she was on her knees pulling out old weeds and thinking of what else needed to be done " We could use some trees in the back, dont you think?" she asked looking at Bella.

(I so sorry I havent responded... Ive been real busy)

“Yeah. I’m surprised those suckers survived that long without water.”

She was scraping and scrubbing the statue clean, dislodging any moss and dirt. Once the statue was white again, she removed the birdbath, emptied it, cleaned it, and put it back. She made sure that statue was as good as it was when it was built.

" Imma go look for saplings later to plant back here. I have an idea" Jewel said  an hour later " But for now, we are done and could use a good break"

She got up from her work and stretched. "Yeah let's go." She had thrown herself so much into working that she didn't notice how sore, hungry, and thirsty she felt.

Jewel and her guard walked back to the palace to relax 

" Good job. did think we would get that much done today" Jewel said grabbing a few huge apples and tossed one to each of them " there is water and other drinks in the fridge. Help yourself to anything, Bella. "

Jewel went off to go clean things up for the guest. " And you can take the northeast room on the right past the stairs" she said as she headed up that direction " its the best one  I have here"

(Like I said, no worries, I've been quite busy too)

She hesitated for a few seconds, before moving to follow Jewel. She was a bit off-put. Just a few days ago she was literally about to be executed. Why was she being so nice to someone who had tried to take her life and killed her mother? Was this a trap? 

Her mind then moved to why she had attempted it in the first place. Joseph was blamed for the murder of someone important(I'm leaving this intentionally vague), because a witness had seen him by the scene. Mind you, it was dark and the wolf they saw may have not even been him, but looked close enough to pass off as him, no one in the family knew who this could have been, but all these years she had one theory. That Joseph had covered up for a relative, possibly a brother?

Belladonna was finally hit with a realization. It seemed obvious now. It just simply wasn't her fault. When it crossed her mind she felt somehow lighter. Her family had raised her to do it, to think the royal family was bloodthirsty, they were the ones that gave the orders to do it.

Jewel Sighed as she finished up cleaning up the guest room "  There is a bell if you need anything I will be down stairs."

She then left the room to leave Belladonna alone. She had other private matters to attend to anyways.

(Okay I think we should start with the whole love thing, like maybe them both crushing on each other but not admitting it, idk)

Belladonna stepped into the threshold and briefly turned her head to watch Jewel leave before gently closing the door. She reluctantly sat on the bed, lost in thought, before settling into it completely. She still felt out of place and dared not touch anything else.

Her mind wanted some familiarity. So she made some plans.

The next morning, as soon as the sun rose, she would go into the forest to go foraging. Not foraging for herbs, she didn't need them now, but for wildflowers. There are all sorts of things that can be done with wildflowers, flower crowns, little flower bottles, heck, in the right hands, one could make floral scented perfumes and candles, and it just so happened that she was taught various flower crafts.
