Year 7 Day 181, Start of Fall, Alkey's Lead Of course he has always known that time is going to be unkind to his family, as it so often likes to be. It had been starting in small hints for a while now, watching as his closest friend seemed to slow down and meander instead of trotting around as she normally would, or how she would sleep in much longer then usual. The small things always add up, and it came to it's conclusion on this average fall morning. In all of the mental prep he'd given himself as he fell asleep next to his love, listening to her exhausted breathing and soft heart beat, he still finds himself distraught as he wakes finding her stiff beneath his head. Cold, breathless, and already her fur has dulled in color. Yes he knew she would be back, but it was heartbreaking anyway to find his love has passed. Having to take quite a bit of time to himself to just quietly mourn and bury against her thick fur before he could even request assistance in having her body moved. Thankful to Felidae and Amber for helping to carry her large body out of the cave, out to a moss softened clearing to be laid down. Allowing the pack to come by as they're able to leave behind gifts, ranging from cones to gems, before giving him space to host his own vigil with her for the day to oversee her final transformation. Their children, Firetick and Pelonai, coming by to pay their own respects and stay for a while before being encouraged to continue looking after the packs. Pelonai especially was given full authority for the day, excused from her scouting to ensure the territory and pack were looked after in this time of grieving. -------- 🖤 Basically, my starter girl has passed and I'm just >cries 🖤 Pelonai is in charge for today, I'm sure that's gonna be a riot 🖤 Firetick is a bit shocked but he knows she'll be back tomorrow, even if she's not quite a wolf anymore but it's fine it's still his mom 🖤 Alkey is, not quite doing very well. He knows she'll be back, he knew it was coming because she'd been slowing down for a while now, but man was he not ready at all 🖤 I also found out Andesite passed away too and I'm just like >:0 why why do the good girls die young, literally the earliest possible!! 🖤 oh and Alkey has 11 days (5.5 in game months) to live without Kaeta and to prep for Pelonai to take over 🖤 An add on to the short death thing, while the two kids did come by to pay respects, Pelonai was oddly distant about it, seeming the most numb, and Alkey has always known she's been kind of non-chalant when it comes to death due to the odd way it interacts with their pack. It worries him and he's been trying to figure out how to break her out of that and bring her to reality and it has not been the most successful thing 🖤 I also have one very big event planned for her takeover anyway which I'd been debating on but that I think will do me and this playstyle a world of good really 🖤 In other news, Firetick, my boy, you've been around so long and have recruited exactly zero friends. Plz, I beg of you, stop being picky you donut 🖤 Pelonai has achieved very little for her day in power and that pretty much sums up her character, Miaro has done his best to tail her and try to keep her pointed in the right direction but like, he is one whole boy. There's only so much he can do with his sweetheart when she's forgetful and easily distracted with stray thoughts. Year 7 Day 182, 2nd day of Fall, Alkey Lead 🖤 Today's the day Kaeta would be revived as her draconic long girl self, and as much as I'd love to draw her I don't have my drawing stuff with me out on the job and away from home for so long so, I just scream for now 🖤 In other news, 10 days left to live, not my boy!!!! 🖤 He's still trying to beat sense into his daughter and encourage his son to be more social less picky!! How's he supposed to accomplish those mountainous feats in 5 months or less 😩 🖤 Eyy, Lightninbug max level now, you love to see it 🖤 So, to circle back to Pelonai and her little problems processing stuff like death, in all her adventurous nature and everything she's seen growing up I'd imagine her handling of it would make wolves uncomfortable. I mean, she's by no means evil, she loves and does everything with her whole heart but Growing in an environment where death was not only super common due to competition wanting you dead, she grew numb to seeing her packmates dying when she kept seeing them come back in new forms. She's never seen or heard of it happening to other packs but she always has assumed it's that way, even though she's wrong And I just imagine it being this shellshocker when people meet this bubbly, happy-go-lucky wolf and think she has maybe an oddly morbid sense of humor or a twisted outlook to natural occurrences, suddenly finding she's whole heartedly serious. Missing a couple acorns up in her tree lmao 🖤 Oh and since I'm bouncing around on this thread, I got some decor for my mutated silly babies (In order it's Asali and Nightsky):   ❤️ The Exempt had their first real liter! Jasper and Wave had four puppies, and plan to keep one of them having lovingly named the little female Catseye, Cat for short

Year 7 Day 183, 3rd Day of Fall, Alkey Lead 🖤 I joined a raise and chase clan since it seemed like fun! Not something Alkey would do but he would house wolves who otherwise needed a home till they were ready to go so it's kinda like a half truth? 🖤 I also finally tried designing my apocalyptica pack founders because they're important for lore
Do I have too much time and fun finding ways to fund my ability to decorate pixel wolves? Yes. Do I have regrets? Lmao, no, I probably should tho. Let's see how long before lemonrots fans find out what I've done ❤️ I think Firetick is way more excited about the puppies then he lets on tbh, and he's entirely the type to have them settle in a desert home to make sure they're safe. He's also toying with the idea of having puppies of his own with Lightningbug and she's acting less then excited but like, when no one's looking she's all over the puppies >Also she's just, remembering her old pack really and how they were with puppies? She's aware Firetick came from a different setting and even experienced the setting herself, but she's too stubborn to accept the changes no matter how much she trusts her boy >She's probs gonna try to have her own in a few months, but I don't think Firetick's ready for how extremely protective and violent with everyone while they're growing up. It's gonna be a snappy year for them huh

Year 7 Day 184, 4th day of Fall, Alkey Lead 🖤 Do I need a different post for each day? No. Why am I doing it? I have no honest idea lmao 🖤 Uneventful rollover really, as per usual. My Pupsitters don't really lose puppies man?? Even when they aren't at 100 I haven't lost a puppy since.... December? I think it was december when I last lost a puppy and that was the month the pack had a huge personality shift from Aggressive/stoic to more romantic/friendly/stoic and aggressives died down to just the fringes. Why does rng only like me for puppy death avoidance lately it's weird 🖤 I found this really pretty goth boy as a chased wolf in the glacier, he's a bit weak but like, idc??
Look at him pls, an actual goth child, defend him And since he's from the glacier and had a romantic disposition I'm gonna assume he's from my glacier buddies who keep trying to jump me, undoubtedly a reject with his 199stats and soft disposition Well, he's got a new home now son, and he can fit right in to rub it in his old packs face ❤️ Idk why I almost forgot this but! Lightningbug did give in and have a liter with Firetick, and in her impatience used an IBF since she "didn't want to walk around like a vulnerable balloon" for months, whatever that means. >She had four pups! >It is done! They're in order, left to right: selfish, dedicated, confident and observant. They're getting proper names soon when I think of them. Damn, selfish has the best stats but I kinda like observant?? Though, when it comes to leading Firetick would only pick a successor who's going to continue to do the right thing so he'll likely wait till they're older to make a decision. And I'm sure Lightningbug will have her own two cents when it comes time 🖤 Gonna post my raise to chase wolves here real quick. For those who don't know, raise to chase is a little group dedicated to expanding the chased wolves pool to have more variety then rejected NBWs! And it helps clear a wolf's lineage to make otherwise beautiful pups more appealing! Year 7 Day 185, 5th day of Fall, Alkey Lead 🖤 My boys only got like a week left and I'm weak, I'm not ready to lose him man 😭 I wanna keep him forever and do him justice with his design because I did him so heckin dirty and I did my girl dirty too cause I didn't even customize her. 💜 Hadley became immortal today, Alkey received a very odd glowy jellyfish in return for the strange gold cones he happens upon from others. The shopkeeper was equally strange but upfront, and he wanted to make sure Hadley was allowed to not have to go through the death and revival as he and several others had been. He didn't wanna put Apellia and Ineske through that, so he gave it to her to eat, and after a complaint about the strange salty and tingly taste her body morphed and changed (I swear I'll get pictures of their immortal forms when I've got my art stuff) and she no longer felt the effects of old age. A miracle really 🖤 Several wolves went to a newbie today, I hope they like them and all, gave em some silver and auburn marks and a nice nbw so we'll see what happens! 🖤 Idk if I ever mentioned it but Alkey managed to throw a T3 to someone's female a while ago and they were so nice and allowed me to buy her, my first t3 and related to my boy so she's got a bit of sentimental value, named her mamba and she's got a childhood friend named python so I think that'll go swell 🖤 Bred this lovely lady Glacier from Fierce Grace
From whom I would consider a friend and a very sweet person with very pretty babies whom I love a lot and they aren't even mine! Kinda excited to see what puppies she throws tbh, might ask for one since my boy dies soon so this may very well be his last breeding as far as ik 😭 💜 Alkey also is completely aware he's probably not got a lot of time left tbh, cause he can feel the aging in his bones and it makes him want to lag and be a little slower. And without Kaeta around he feels even worse, it's honestly just a matter of time tbh and he is doing his absolute best to heavily stockpile so the pack has a cushion for the transitory period of them getting used to Pelonai leading, it's just not easy you know? >His daughter is still having trouble grasping the concept of how serious death is, to the point she hasn't even fully noticed or even gotten used to her father's change in mobility. She just treats as if he's dealing with the flu like "oh he just doesn't feel good now, he'll be fine soon though" and it has been a struggle to reach her that's not how it works >She also has big plans to move the pack to the swamp, hoping to be close to her brother and wanting to be surrounded in forest again, and Alkey has got his doubts about such a move because she has never lead a big move. She's been a part of them yes, but witnessing how one should go and leading one yourself is very different, but, he does support her. He is going to try and make it easier on her by sending ahead all the non-mobile pups with more capable pack members and some Pupsitters, those capable pack members will come back to help move the rest of the dens storage and the remaining pups who are mobile and adols. >This isn't to say he doesn't believe in her, but he knows she wants to be gungho and isn't looking at the dangerous aspects due to the whole "well deaths not permanent" set back.
