The Guardians of the Crystals- Officially Over

When the woman did nothing but give Arthur a quizzical and slightly distrustful look, he growled to himself and stood back up. "You could at least tell me you're not interested." He mumbled before snatching her wrist, ripping the bracelet off, deciding to go with the more violent act. The bracelet broke and shattered, and the darkness was released from it.

The woman gasped, but the red-haired man covered her mouth, his eyes narrowed. "I advise you to keep your mouth shut." He whispered gruffly, leaving the baffled woman staring at her broken article.

Worry was immediately upon Arthur once more, and he looked around for Celeste. He saw her walking with Cora, the new Guardian. He pushed his way through the crowd (more or less forcefully), but most of the people shifted out of his way since he was quite easy to see, being tall in stature and obviously high-ranking by the General-wear he had on.

He began walking beside the Queen once he made it to her side. "I shattered the bracelet." He mumbled, his pale brown eyes drifting down to her wrapped hand. He looked back at her face, clearly wanting to know what happened.

Celeste gave him a smile as Arthur told of his success over the woman. "Great! Now..." She stammered to a stop as he gave a questioning look at the scarf wrapped around her hand. She unwrapped it, wincing. The scratch was bloody, but it had stopped bleeding. She gave him a weak smile. "From a pin. I'm alright." She wrapped it up again and introduced Cora to Arthur. "Cora, this is Arthur, my personal Guard."

Cora bowed to him, her icy blue eyes surveying him carefully. He seemed trustworthy. "A pleasure to meet you, Arthur," She said, strapping the woman's dagger to her belt. She gave him an offhand smile. 

Luna followed Cora...or at least she did for a time, before she felt hands grap her forcefully, from behind, off course this immieadtly set off her panic and she shifted into the form of an owl and took to the air with a fearful screech when she felt hands trying to reach for her, and when that failed, dark tendrils chased after her as she flew trying to dodge around the crowd

Arthur clenched his jaw when he saw the bloody scratch. "You're definitely getting that looked at after this, no matter what you say." He whispered to her.

When he was introduced to Cora, he bowed quickly, studying her with an equally careful gaze. "And a pleasure to meet you, too, Guardian Cora." He said, standing back up straight.

He was jolted out of their introduction when he heard the screech of an owl and looked up to see what must've been Luna, the Shapeshifting Guardian. Quite a few people in the crowd yelled in alarm and pointed at the darkness trailing after the randomly-appearing owl.

"Please forgive me, but I will be back in a second," Arthur said to Celeste and Cora before heading off in the direction the dark tendrils were coming from. When he saw who was casting them, didn't hesitate to throw a mean right hook at them, huffing in satisfaction as his fist met their face.

Luna kept up her flight when the tendrils stopped as the man who had sent them after went down when Arthur hit him, before she landed near Celeste, shifted into the form of a small fox and dashed behind her, shivering as she made herself seem as tiny as she could make herself look

moonlight pushed her way through the crowd from her corner, not wanting the queen to get hurt. she catches the queen in time and carries her up to the others.

Cora gaped at Celeste, who's head was on fire. Her Crystal, which had been hidden in her pocket, was faltering to pulse. This was bad news. She took Celeste from Moonlight and brought her over to Arthur. He would know what to do.

Luna was still shivering in Cora´s grasp, she could feel magic in the air, which did not help her current panic at all, quite the opposite, it made her leap from Cora´s grasp and take of in a panicked run, dashing through the people still gathered, biting at the ones who got to close, she was terrified

Arthur turned when he saw the explosion as the town's residents scattered in a panic. His eyes widened when he saw his Queen and closest companion fall out of the air. He wasn't able to get to her, though, because of the scared people running around like chickens without heads.

Thankfully, Cora brought her over to him, and he didn't hesitate to take her from the Ice Guardian's hands, cradling her in his arms. He noticed her crystal, and his face drained of color.

The General's worry and fear turned into slight aggression, and he snapped at any guards he saw in his line of sight to escort all of the remaining citizens back to their towns and close any access to the palace. He proceeded to sweep the Queen up to her quarters, entering her room quickly.

He laid the Queen onto her bed, his pale brown eyes wide as he looked down at her. Arthur didn't have a clue what to do for her head, so he quickly got some cold water and a rag, rushing back to the bed. He sat beside her and began putting the little fire out. He took the crystal out of her pocket and laid it next to her, so he could see both her and the crystal at the same time.

"Celeste-" this was the first time he'd ever called the Queen her name without her formal title before it, "-can you hear me?" He asked, grasping her hand.
