What Do You Thing Are The Best Stats & Personality For Each Role?

I know the basics of chaser = speed/agility, stalker = smarts/wisdom, finisher = strength, but I was wondering what others prefer for other roles (for in-game reasons or aesthetic)?

For example preferring a friendly wolf with high stats in smarts as a pupsitter, or a stoic wolf with good wisdom and smarts stats as an herbalist?

Personally, thus far, I've found myself gravitating towards keeping aggressive wolves as hunters (mostly for aesthetic reasons), with appropriate high stats for each hunting role. I'm curious to see if anyone else has particular reasons for assigning roles to their wolves!

I chose a Dishonest wolf for my first herbalist because I thought it was funny. Yeah, no, these herbs are 100% safe and effective, I promise.

I don't really have any specific preferences though, the important thing is that my hunters get along. I run friendly/romantic teams just because that's what the majority of my wolves are right now.

Haha, a dishonest herbalist - I like it! I ended up choosing a neutral wolf with high stats for mine.

It seems like everyone's packs are largely friendly/romantic. I happened to have mostly aggressive/romantic since I use aggressive wolves for hunters, and romantic personalities are a safe bet to match them with.

My first herbalist was a lazy (friendly) boy with high strength, speed, and wisdom.  He was hardly ever wrong in his diagnosis and he brought back many herbs.  My new herbalist (not related to him) is malicious (aggressive) and has not been wrong once.  Her lot in life is to craft many medicines, and to keep everyone at a distance when not fixing them.

My pupsitters and hunters can be any personality. I juggle personalities in hunting groups as I see fit. xD

I prefer my lead wolves to be of the stoic personality group!

I think your dishonest herbalist is amusing :)

Realistically, or personally, I suppose, I like:

Herbalists: friendly, romantic or stoic personality (helpful, observant, independent, precise and capable.)

Hunters: aggressive or stoic personality (combative, malicious, quiet and sneaky.)

Leads: friendly or romantic personality (fair, sociable, charming, confident, reliable and dutiful.)

Pupsitters and other pack members should also fall into friendly or romantic personalities! :)

What about Scouts? All my Scouts are super "unenthused" when they return.

When I first made this post, personalities didn't do much outside of whether or not your hunting parties got a long. Now they add stats as well as flavor text.

If your scouts are unenthused it may have to do with their relationship to your lead wolf? I'm not sure since I haven't verified it myself.

Otherwise these days for a scout I'd recommend bossy, capable, dedicated, or dutiful as these give bonuses to the wolf's wisdom and strength stat. 100 wisdom and 100 strength are the stats needed to successfully discover and scout the rainforest and glacier regions of the map.
