this is where i will be putting lore and updates. im probably going to use this as a main page but at the moment im pretty tired so place holder time :,)

what is the bjorn -- enough said

1 year ceremony -- a shared feast, groveling in the dirt, the bjorn puts water on their foreheads and they all howl and celebrate throughout the night 

bjorn has begun to descend further into her mental breakdown after the coyotes made a fifth kill of the pups, slaughtering the secondborn of modigt's litter, causing bjorn to kill the remaining male pups of her and her daughter's litter in order to 'feed the coyotes' and keep them away from the rest. the pup sitters are exhausted, being forced to keep guard day in and day out, but the coyotes are proving as cunning as they are small. as a result of the breakdown, bjorn has contracted mange, and refuses to allow hund to treat it.

lille is devastated by her pup being killed and sent to the coyotes. though traditionally the bjorn is not allowed to raise male pups, they are allowed to wean before being turned over to another pack or otherwise left to their own devices in the wilderness. she feels it's a brutal murder, but bjorn does not listen. instead, bjorn threatens to chase lille out herself in order to replace lille with fore, the most recent female pup of bjorn's litter. 

skaere has fallen pregnant-- she and pil are thrilled at the prospect of more pups, despite pil's own only being a month old. however, bjorn has already made it clear that pil's pups will be chased at six months.

karamelmaelk is still grieving the brutal loss of her entire first litter. she is feeling angry and desperate. as a result, her scouting missions have become longer and longer. she returned to the den late one night soaked through in blood, and though she still limps as it heals, she has not stopped scouting. the rest of the pack doesn't know what to do with her, and bjorn has ordered that karamel be kept away from remaining pups.

sne pa had a close brush with a mountain goat while sunbathing, but she returned safely home.

gylden and lyse have become full adults, but the festivities were not as bright as usual. everyone had a grouse and groveled in the dirt, but bjorn refused the ceremonial water passage and denied the celebratory howl, claiming the coyotes would come. despite the ceremony being cut short, the two were still thrilled to be recognized as part of the pack.

blas, hori and pels have moved out of the mother's den into the main cave upon reaching six months.

lille's final pup was killed by another coyote. bjorn was entirely unsupportive about it, in fact, completely blaming lille. she has become slow and sluggish.

bjorn is still riddled with mange. she chased away one of modigt's pups after a close brush with a coyote-- three more pups have joined the pack, after being rescued during scouting missions from coyote ravaged places. however, they are all confined to the mother's den for the time being, as bjorn trusts no one. hund is thinking about treating bjorn's mange in her sleep, for fear the disease will spread if their leader continues with it any longer.

karamelmaelk is still full of fury. she does nothing but scout and guard the camp, leaving no time for her own personal pleasure or enjoyment. she cannot stop thinking about the litter she has lost. she has killed a coyote on her lonesome by now, despite the limp beginning to seem permanent from her wound.

fore feels responsible for lille's depression, as their mother often uses fore as an example despite her youth. bjorn often threatens to chase away lille unless she starts acting "more like fore." The pup has tried to reach out and connect more with her older sister, who pushes her away.

gylden has fallen pregnant seemingly the moment she was in heat, enraging bjorn-- she claims that no pups will survive this spring until the coyote pack is either killed or chased away.

bjorn's mange was cured by hund after weeks of treatment in her sleep. bjorn has become much calmer as of late, and is moving forward on how to be rid of the coyotes. bjorn tried to talk to lille, but lille has shut her out after losing her first litter to bjorn's frenzy. fore also feels uncomfortable around her mother, preferring instead to stay around her nanny. 

there is not much food near the pack, and wolves are beginning to go hungry. perhaps something to do with the coyotes?

most of skaere's pups were killed by the coyotes. the pack has been pleading bjorn to move elsewhere to save the pups, to no avail. bjorn is hellbent on keeping her pack where it is; this is, after all, where she lost her brother hoppe. most of the pack has become pretty depressed, discussing whether or not bjorn is truly fit to lead anymore.

skaere is destroyed by the loss of her pups. only ska-en remains. pil has done her best to comfort her mate, to no avail. however, the pairbond finally decided on a name for their adopted pup; blat oje. blat has been seeking much comfort from skaere during these frightening times, especially since her younger brother could be in danger. the ever-shrinking family now rarely leave the mother's den, for fear of more pups being snatched away.

despite the circumstances, lyserod conceived and gave birth to three healthy female pups. solv is quite the charmer... this upsets bjorn. upon discovering the news of lyserod's pregnancy, bjorn and solv got into an argument that turned physical, leaving bjorn with a limp. lyserod feels guilty for her role in it all. the other mothers look at her with almost contempt; how dare she bring three more mouths to feed into a pack already suffering from famine, let alone during a time in which so many pups were being lost?

mudderfod was also caught fooling around with solv, resulting in bjorn gathering the pack to announce that any new pups born into the pack from henceforth would be personally fed to the coyotes by hers truly. skaere, despite her anger towards lyserod's selfishness, ensured that lyserod's new pups were safe from this rule.

unbeknownst to the pack, however, mudderfod has not stopped her nighttime excursions with solv. she doesn't believe bjorn would truly do something that horrendous to pups, having lost so many of her own... and besides, she'd been flirting with solv for this long without pups. surely none will come to fruition... she hopes.

solv has brought a new, pregnant wolf to the pack named valerius. she claimed to be a loner who fell in love with solv, and when she fell pregnant with his child knew the loner life was no longer for her. exasperated, bjorn left the pack to their own devices, trekking alone deep into the mountains.

karamelmaelk's attitude has improved as of late, no longer venturing for days-long scouting missions. though the coyotes still haunt her, involving herself back in pack life, especially helping around the mother's den, has been soothing for her.

fore and lille's relationship has become even more rocky. lille bites and snarls at fore every time the adolescent is within her eyesight, and with their mother's sudden departure, the abuse has gotten worse. fore seeks consolidation from her father, but solv doesn't seem interested.

lille has no idea what her mother was thinking, breeding with such an arrogant asshole as solv. she despises fore's existence, and the fact that fore's breeding was a sad attempt at recovering from blod's death. lille mourns her father more and more as her mother is driven to chaos, and in the late hours she often hears her squabbles with solv. the male refuses to leave the pack, and also seems to refuse to stay loyal to her mother.

lille and modigt have become increasingly close, and shared a nest together on many occasions. modigt is anxiously awaiting the day she feels safe enough to propose bonding to lille, but with the state of the bjorn and the pack itself, she feels lille would reject her.

ska-en was weaned, but due to bjorn's absence, did not go through a proper naming ceremony. skaere and pil began to perform the ceremony themselves, but solv put a quick end to it, claiming the bjorn put him in charge in her absence. hundsingt denied this claim, but agreed that the ceremony should wait until the bjorn was back.

mudderfod's anger was something solv did not expect. he was used to disappointing bjorn-- while he never planned to replace the pairbond, she forced him into this weird... situation he was now in. especially with all the guilt tripping around his pup, fore... what an odd girl. solv sticks around because he enjoys not having to hunt in the system storpack established, and there are plenty of beautiful young she-wolves just dying for his attention. he'd been sharing a nest with valerius for only a moon before she fell pregnant. it wasn't his fault she couldn't seem to bear pups!

mudderfod completely cut him off after he brought home valerius, seeking solace from her fellow hunters. she didn't care that val fell instantly with child, but that solv had been using her. she felt terrible with herself. lille did not provide much comfort, only telling mudderfod that "Solv is a whore. He uses she-wolves for his pleasure, and when they're with child pretends to care so he can keep sucking up more she-wolves because of what a fantastic father he will be."

fore feels embarrassed for the drama her father has caused, especially since when she was born, he and her mother were supposed to be bonded.

blat oje grew into an adolescent, and moved into the adolescent den. at nights, she still sleeps with her younger brother ska-en, too afraid of the coyotes to leave him. her mothers anxiously check on her daily, and some nights pil will invite her into her nest, just in case.

in bjorn's absence, valerius brought a "lost pup" from the outskirts of the mountains. solv named this pup har som liljer in a non-traditional fashion, causing pil and skaere to protest their son's lack of one. eventually, hund stepped in again to agree, and with reluctance perform the naming ritual. ska-en was thus named en der soverkold.

en der was found on the outskirts of the camp, his leg clamped shut in metal jaws. he lost a lot of blood, but thanks to hund's quick work, his wounds are not fatal. he is now resting with his mothers, still not strong enough to stay awake for very long. smuk, though he hasn't admit it yet, was out playing hide and bite with his little brother when he'd heard a shriek. panicked, he'd run back to camp on his own, not even considering that en der could've been the one in trouble. no one yet knows why en der was outside camp that far, only that they're grateful he's alive at all.

smuk grew into the adolescent den.

vinterens aged one year, but due to bjorn's now two moon long absence, did not have a ceremony.

en der has been healing well. he is starting to speak again, though he has little energy for play, as hund has been teaching him to walk again with a rigorous program.

sadly, sne pa passed in her sleep due to old age. the pack mourns the loss of the founding member.
