I really do love these events, but I am kind of disappointed to not even have a ghost of a chance of getting all the applicators before they retire. Unless one's lead is already max level and well stocked on healing salves, and uses lucky foot often to be sure that each battle is victorious, a player averages closer to 75 LT a day. (My new lead, at level 8, still can get his ass kicked by a level 2 pack, and I still lose more often than win against any enemy 2 levels below him, so leveling up is hard) That means only around 500 LT each cycle. This puts the idea of getting 1 base app, one marking app, and both eye apps essentially beyond the realm of possibility for a player like me, even if I do spend all my time that week making sure I max out my Essence collection and getting all the LT I can with it (Assuming I won't win even half the battles due simply to level). As a collector in games like this, I really want to get one of each app before they retire, just to have them. I get the general idea of limiting things to promote the player-to-player market, or keep studding worthwhile. But I, personally, don't like the idea that I cannot achieve my goals on my own. The event is engineered to prevent me from being able to do that, and be dependent on other players to achieve that goal, no matter how much effort or time I try to personally put into it. I love the event, the art, and the idea behind it. I hate that it's designed to make me fail. I hate that I won't be able to correct that "failure" for possibly a few years until a rare event happens in the real world, and I might have gotten the random extra LT and not spent them trying to get the other new things since then. Even if the apps were just available a bit longer, such as a 3 month cycle rather than a 2 month cycle, it would be difficult but possible. As it is, I can foresee it only being a matter of time before the repetitive feeling of failure and pointlessness of putting effort into an event I can't get what I really want out of it drives me to completely ignore or even resent these events. I just want to have a reasonable chance of getting the 1,390 LT I need ever cycle. Having a few extra to save towards decor would delight me, but that's not even a thing worth contemplating. Pity to waste the effort that's gone into the art, but I doubt I'll even have enough LT to get the apps I missed out on when the rare event brings them back. Just got on in time for my first night cycle today. Three moves in, three enemies encountered, each one level different from my lead, one over my lead and two under him. Three battles lost, three uses of healing salve gone, no LT earned. I think I might have already reached the point where I dislike participating in these events more than I like them existing. |

What is LT? I am excited to explore more in dream world, but I am curious what LT is/means. |

LT means Lunar Teardrops. You collect them from encounters or fights in the Dreamlands |
