Oooo Wolvden social media aspects! As long as you have an option to turn the feature off on your den page, like with the pup survival alerts, I can definitely support! |

Aw, this is cute. And it could be a good community building feature - could even inspire some forum games like fashion shows, "find one wolf of the user above you and like/lick them" so people can show off their dens and spread some love, etc. I support :) |

I'm a bit hesitant about this. This could just be a personal hang-up, but social media and likes can be a bit toxic. It can lead to a lot of comparison between yourself and other players, and that's not something I personally want in what I consider to be a more lighthearted and fun game. There's some comparison already with how successful people are in the game, etc., but that at least isn't as personal. It could feel very personal on wolves you have specially bred, or spent hours designing and customizing. Then to have a very clear indication that someone else's designs are viewed as better than yours might feel discouraging, and put people off of the game. "But just ignore it, Zeva, if it really bothers you that much," you say. It would be nice if it was that easy, yes. But I am worried people will feel pressured into buying fancy decor, which might cost them real-life money that they wouldn't have spent otherwise. I am worried people will feel discouraged when their wolves aren't liked, especially their favorite ones. I am worried it would negatively impact part of the playerbase because people can pour a little bit of themselves into their wolves, and having no one or very few people like something you've put a bit of yourself into could real-life emotionally impact someone. Am I being overly sensitive? Maybe. But some of us neurodivergent (or normal!) players can't help being sensitive. Maybe other people haven't experienced the same negative effects of social media that I have, but I think it's something to consider when implementing any feature like this. I'm not sure a toggle would work, because the allure of having the feature on to potentially get that little dopamine/serotonin/whichever happy chemical boost would overpower reason. I do like some of the add-ons people have suggested, like the wolf fashion shows, which do sound fun, but I think the potential negatives are more important than potential positives, especially regarding mental wellbeing of players. ETA: You said on a previous page that this is a competitive game. I do agree somewhat, because for some (a lot?) of people it is, but stat monsters and muties don't have the same personal aspect to them. |

^^^ All of this Like I said before, this game is meant to be fun - giving it social media aspects (that everyone knows cause a lot of issues for many people) is gonna create unnecessary strife and upset for players, and I don’t see any reason to do that?? Especially if people play this game to get away from the stress of social media. |

An easy way to fix that would be to have the licks only be viewable to the owner of the wolf |

I can see some do not like the idea . I love it myself . It can be made where you can turn them on or off . |

Oh yeah definitely, I’d never support it if the likes were viewable to everyone and you couldn’t switch them off. |

Ooohhh i like this idea. I have seen some wolves that were absolutely beautiful, but i felt weird messaging the player to tell them haha So having something like this would be nice. I do like the idea of having a toggle option for either showing the number of likes publicly and/or allowing a den page accept likes is a good idea. |
