How do I change the main wolf leading my pack? Am I able to pick a specific wolf to lead my pack as well?

You can change your lead wolf only once it dies. You can either wait out all 8 years of your lead's lifetime, only leads will always live to 8 years, or pay GC to retire them early. Your lead will not leave for neglect or die from lethal illnesses.

Once you are able to choose a new lead, you can choose any wolf in your pack, even if they are not an adult yet. If a wolf is chosen and is not 1 year old yet, they'll be automatically aged up.

Yes, an entire pack can die from old age or lethal disease. That's why it's important to buy/breed pups and stockpile medicines. Wolves can also run away if you don't take care of them. So you should try to always have food and toys to give them every day.

No, it's not game over. Your lead won't die from disease or hunger. When he/she dies of old age at 8 years old, you can re-roll a new wolf to be your lead.
