Inqustion pack lore and stories

This is my thread for my pack's lore and the story following their adventure. I am using the names of Dragon Age games because I am no good at thinking up original names I do not own dragon age.

English is not my first language so I am sorry for any spelling or grammar mistakes

Lore

In an  alternate universe of Thedas Corypehus won and managed to destroy Thedas but there were spirits who took pity upon the people, evil and good alike, and used their powers to send the spirits of the people of Thedas to another world, where they would be reborn as wolves, the following is the story of the Inquisition Pack

Prologue

Varric opened his eyes to behold a white void, remembering the destruction of Thedas and wondered if this was the afterlife before a spirit materialised in front of him, its form resembled that of a glowing blue wolf, "Do not fear me Varric. I am but a Spirit, here to inform you that while you have died, we spirits have taken pity upon the people of Thedas. You will be reborn in another world, in the form of a wolf. You and the others of Thedas. Form a pack for them Varric, give them a new chance in the new world. You will need them to survive. But do not worry, I am with you all ways, I will come to you when and if you have need of more guidance" the spirit said and before Varric could ask questions, he felt himself be pulled backwards "AWAKEN" the spirit howled and Varrics eyes shot open to behold his new world

Awakening and pack forming

Varric looked around, he had awoken in what appeared to be a Grassland before he groaned, "that was one crazy dream" he muttered raising a paw to his head, before he paused to look at his new appeandage, "or.....not a dream. I really am a wolf, Thedas really has fallen" he said and sighed sadly.

"So that spirit was real" he muttered, raising slowly to his paws, though he was saddend to know his home was now forever gone and slowly began to walk, unused as he still was to his new wolven body, but slowly he began to get a feel for it, and was able to to walk faster as he wandered across the Grassland in which he had awoken.

He wandered for a few hours until he came across a den and wandered closer until a growl sounded from within, "come no closer wolf!" but the voice....was familiar, "Inqusitor?" Varric asked and the growling stopped, the head of a wolf appearing at the den entrance, its coat pitch black, "Varric? Is that you?" the wolf asked, Varric nodded.

"So we have both been reborn then, the spirit I saw was right" Inqusitor said, "spirit? You saw a spirit?" Varric asked in disbelief, Inqusitor nodded, "I saw one too, told me what had happend and to form a pack, to give a new chance to others of Thedas who have been reborn like us" he said.

Inqusitor laughed,  "it told me the same thing, except it told me I would find another wolf soon, who would be Alpha, it sensed that I do not wish to lead, it must have meant you" she said.

"But I am no leader" Varric protested before Inqusitor wandered up to him, and nuzzled his neck, "perhaps  not in Thedas, but this is a new chance for everyone, you can do this Varric, I know it. While I have been here, I have met a bear, a bear who has taught me how to use the herbs of this world to heal illness, this is what I wish to do for the pack, I will be our Herbalist and you our Alpha" she said before she stepped back.

Varric took a deep breath then nodded, "and this Grassland will be our home, this will be our packs den. This will be where The Inqusiton pack will live and grow" he said, determanition in his voice, the two nodded before they both howled to the skies to signal the birth of the inqusiton pack

Update on Pack: The inqusiton Pack has been joined by the Scout Hawke, Hunter Sera and Cassandra Pentaghast and six puppies has been born to Inquistor and Varric.

This is a quick update I will go back to writing out their adventures but things have been a little stressed the past few weeks since i started it up, but things have calmed down now so expect to see more updates

Pupsitters and death

Varric trotted into the cave of his mate, ever since they had former the Inqusition pack, he and Inqusitor had become very close and their feelings had soon become that of romance and soon after that the two of them became mates, entering into what other wolves referred to as a pair bond, this bond had resulted in six puppies, 5 males and a single female, but Inqusitor…was worried for their pups.

“How are they doing?” Varric asked softly as padded up to the nursing Inqusitor, nuzzling the top of her heard gently, “they are doing well my love, but I cannot help but worry for them, I still need to be able to do my job as the pack Herbalist, and I cant watch over our pups when I work” Inqusitor said, blue breath escaping her maw with every word, her glowing blue eyes looking at Varric, “we need to get a pupsitter. I will go and explore the lands, see if I cannot find more reborn wolves to join our pack, perhaps I can find someone who will be willing to be the pack pupsitters” Varric said, then padded out of the den.

He padded towards the edge of the Pack´s territory watching Hawke leaving to go scout the surrounding areas and Sera and Cassandra leaving to go out hunting, they really could use more hunters to aid the two, but they needed pupsitters as well.

So with that goal in mind and a strong wish to protect his pups, Varric went on his way, he had to find more wolves for the pack, he had to, but did not get far when he spotted a lone wolf wandering to close to his pack territory, a low growl, starting in his throat.

Varric stalked towards the lone wolf, growling, “you best start moving in the opposite direction, before I have to deal with you for threatening the safety of my pack stranger” he warned, the wolf turned to face him, blinking his eyes.

“Varric? Is that you?” the wolf asked, the voice one that Varric regonized from his earlier life, “Anders. I see you where reborn to this world too” Varric said, a tiny smile playing on his lips, sure the last time the two of them had met things had not exactly been…..all that happy but things where different not, this was a new world and a new chance for everyone reborn here.

After a quick explanation to Anders about what had happened, Varric had taken Ander back to the pack. Anders had agreed to take up Pupsitting for Varrics (and any other pups that may come in the future) pups and Varric headed out once more.

He managed to bring back quite a few wolves to the pack, filling out the hunting team of Arrow and getting another scout and two more pupsitters unfortunately despite Alistair, doing all he could to protect he pups he was pupsitting, Varric and Inqusitor lost one of their pups to a rival wolf, the pack mourned the loss but moved one with their lives, never forgetting the tiny life that was taken from them to early
