Allow Chased Wolves to Keep Their Age (Again)

I had been meaning to share my vote: my personal preference goes to 3, but I can see how most people would prefer 2 and it is more inclusive of various playstyles and needs, so 2 would be perfectly satisfactory as well. As a very active R&Cer the only option that doesn't appeal to me is 1 (the current state of affairs where all chased wolves' stats and age are re-rolled) for all the reasons shared by other R&Cers.

Seeing Kitty's post just made my day though, thank you so much for explaining what happened and for your commitment to the playerbase.

Might I suggest that if there is going to be an edit to the chasing code and rules, you also consider implementing other linked suggestions such as the one not to accept re-chased NBWs in the pool? This way, this could be a comprehensive chased wolf mini-update.

In any case, I'm looking forward to seeing this fixed! :)

So, if this is going to be changed back to the previous system with the alteration (Chased wolves [under age 5 with the alteration] keep their previous age, stats are rerolled independently of age) within the next few days, what I’m hearing is that we should hold on to our yearlings for a few more days unless we don’t have the space for them at all? Better they’re consistently found at a few months past one year than being found at three to four years, after all.

I'm for options 2 or 3 but 2 feels like it would be better for a wider audience so its my pick.

Sometimes I can go days or weeks before coming across a chased wolf so it would be very disappointing to find one that's 5yr and then to learn it was chased at 1.  Would be very disheartening and discouraging.  I'm glad admins are open to change this.

Thank you, Kitty!  Like others have said, I didn't think it was ill intent/will either!  Also as others have said, it really is a breath of fresh air to see our concerns taken seriously!!  I could go on, but to keep it on point, it is a relief to see respect from everyone, admin or not. :D

The thing I might be afraid of when old wolves get to re-roll their age upon chasing is that instead of keeping big studs and/or pretty wolves in dynasties so we can see/admire them, some players are gonna chase them out of generosity, with a pretty decent chance we'll never gonna meet them.
