Okay, update time!!

So I've decided to scrap all of my lore... the worst part is I've put HOURS into it, but I'll be much happier once I get something new down. I've already thought of something I might try out, so it's happy hourssss

Also, I have a weird obsession with writing lore (it stems from my other obsession of world-building projects), so I've literally created three semi-decent, semi-complete pack ideas?? For starters, my actual pack (Bluecrown), a pirate pack (Seascape Valley), and now a pack of powerful wolves that have created a game to mess with humans (name in progress). And I've only got space for one pack, so I'm technically screwed. But hey, I can just... change it up every now and then,, like rename my pack and change to one of my other lores if I feel like it.

I've been having fun reading everyone's lores, so keep it up guys, you're doing great! :D

added everyone to the main page! c: and Rina, you don't have to have fully developed lore to join c: one of our biggest topics in lore clan is discussing lore ideas!

Hi everyone! I'd love to join! :D I don't have a dedicated lore thread (yet) but my den has a quick blurb and I'm working on fleshing out my wolves' bios -- they all have some basic info, but I've got more in my head about their characters and backstories.

To give you an idea, my lead coywolf, Kaiza, was run out of her home in the southlands by an especially aggressive wolf pack. Her mother had told her and her littermates that she was fathered by a member of that pack, so the attack came as a shock, and as far as Kaiza knows, she's the only one to have gotten away. She fled as far as the mountains, and has been picking up other strays and forming a ragtag group ever since, but she can't stop thinking about her real home. One day she'll go back, get answers about why her family was attacked and bring ruin to the wolves responsible -- but until then, she's up in the mountains causing mischief.

If anybody here has a pack in the desert area that might like to uhhhh be the mysterious pack of Kaiza's father, that sure would be neat 👀 Or if anyone else wants to have lore interactions/pack relations, hmu!

@Sybbi

My pack is based in the mountains, too! Maybe our packs can be neighbors??

I like to join! I have some storyline figure out but most of them is about the wolf pack problems and conflict!

Here are the lore page, i'm still new to writing so it might not sound too good tho xD

@Abby I'd be down for that! For now, my clan is supposed to live in a valley between the mountains, on the edge of an as-yet unnamed forest and lake. Maybe yours is like, at the base of one of the surrounding mountains somewhere? Or in a neighboring valley beyond a mountain pass?? Ahh, lore interaction! I love it ;v;

I'd love to join! My pack lore is currently a major work in progress, especially while I slowly work my way down to the swamp via scouting, but my pack is based in the Okefenokee Swamp in southern Georgia! They spend a lot of time wading through the water and mud and as a result algae grows on their fur, making it difficult for larger predators to get a grip on them. They live alongside the alligators, sharing their kills with them in exchange for safe passage through the swamplands, creating a mutual relationship. During heavy rains in spring and autumn, they seek shelter in the trees until it's safe to return to the ground, although their preference is definitely to be in the mud and water and not dry!

Welcome to all new members! I'm happy to see all the different sorts of lores <3

...meanwhile I have yet to type mine up lol. I am trying to think of a way that I could explain why my pack moves to a different biome- the mountains fit so well for the pack's theme, but I also want to go somewhere else and see the other habitats. I was thinking maybe a migration/journey sort of thing? A part of their culture includes migrating between the mountains and somewhere else either annually or every so and so years...

Ooooh, I love the idea of swamp wolves! That'll be so cool, Tay!

And ty Moon :> A migration ritual/tradition would definitely be cool, or maybe your wolves could be searching for paradise something? That could be another reason.
