Thank you, Sybbi! I wanted to do something water based and then I saw that I could have my pack live in a swamp and since I live in Georgia I thought the Okefenokee would be perfect 🥺 Plus, then I get to name all of my wolves after native animals and I can get cool swampy art of them!

Discovered this recently due to a message from Sybbi(thanks again)! I'd love to join. Me and my friend Nightstar are intertwining our packs and their stories together, and we have been planning so far ahead I think we'll both be senile old people before our main story goal is completed, not that I really mind.

Day is the leader of my pack, and he was raised in a wolf sanctuary for his entire life(or almost his entire life, not quite sure just yet). He was part of a wolf reintroduction project to help the too-small population, so he was sort of cast out into a new environment early. Although my story and current lore are a gigantic work-in-progress(very much subject to change! might even make Day a capture-and-relocate, who knows?), me and Night have big plans for the future!

Day and their packs Queen, Ajambo, are already highly thought of by both of their packs. But with time and with generations, their stories get more and more warped, and although the information gets less accurate, it gets more grand as well. With time, Day and Ajambo will go from pack heroes, to legends, to myths, and eventually to gods that the packs worship. I think it'll be very fun to slowly but surely start to change information about how the packs see their past leaders!

All of this is still a heavy WIP, so suggestions are highly appreciated! :)

@Sybbi Ooo good idea! That also gave me the idea of them following falling stars or something, since their leader is half celestial maybe they find that sacred or they think they will finally meet other beings like her? Hmm...

_{Ajambo was born in the wild, unlike her counterpart, Day. She was raised in the mountains, but eventually journeyed east into the grasslands. She founded her pack with wild success, and soon her pack began to flourish. However, disputes with other packs became more and more common - namely with the Hunters of Forenoon. Because of this, Ajambo decided to relocate the Nighttime Hunters to the mountains; she had become nostalgic for home anyways, and this was a way for her to reunite with her homeland.}

However, this did not mean severing all ties with the grasslands and their rituals that they were only able to perform in their first territory. In fact, Ajambo allowed fraternization between the two territories, and when three wolves decided to break off from the pack and later start their own, Ajambo did not stop them.

Soon, it seemed the pack was comprised of nomads who moved back and forth. Nobody saw this as irritating or even as a burden - they all missed their home lands. Ajambo and Day's relationship was put to the test multiple times after that, especially at first, when Ajambo discovered that the Hunters of Forenoon had taken over the Nighttime Hunters' former territory. 

These complications didn't stop them from beginning a romantic relationship, and Ajambo soon became pregnant with his pups. Ajambo's main trait is her observancy, but she also has a wildly jealous side. She's the most vicious towards Moon, Day's first mate, though they both know - Ajambo quite smugly - that Ajambo is and always will be Day's favorite.

Ajambo's name translates to "born in the evening", and once she's dead after a long, victorious rule of conquest and glory, the stories do nothing but spread like wildfire. Soon, it becomes the popular belief of the Nighttime Hunters and even the Hunters of Forenoon that she was the First Alpha, the one who created the night and the moon, whilst Day created the daytime. They take pride in their pack's names, and since they both relate to the night and day for Ajambo and Day respectively, this is only more proof to them that the first pack leaders were the ones to create the cycle of day and night. 

A specific myth that I've recently been toying with in my head (I find it quite interesting to play around with the idea of them becoming gods in the eyes of the packs) is that once they died, they became the sun and moon (Day and Ajambo respectively). Whenever a blood moon occurs, the cause is Day and Ajambo flirting. Whenever a blue moon happens, Ajambo and Day have grown lonely and miss each other, and whenever an eclipse rarely happens, it's because they've finally been reunited after many long moons of being apart. However, the belief changes with each wolf - some believe that an eclipse means that they're arguing.

Hi! This is such a neat idea. My lore is still a wip but I figured it's almost done so I'll post it here!!  (I was kind of tempted to do a werewolf situation but I couldn't commit so I stuck with regular wolves lol)

Prompt Submission Competition Update
For anyone not on our discord; we are starting monthly writing competitions, with prompts selected by all of you - the members of Lore Clan! You can only submit through the discord, and the winner will be chosen randomly at the beginning of each month. This month's prompt winner is: Karma's a Bitch. The story must be based around your wolves, though it doesn't necessarily have to be "canon" in your lore. The event page will be open for entries on rollover when the mascot competition ends. After this, all prompt contests will begin on the first of the month.
