This is actually a really interesting theory. Maybe chases wolves with the pose could be befriended? Staff, if you see this and don't mind, would you confirm any of this? It's a really neat idea and if it was possible, it'd lead to a lot of cool variety in NBWs.

The Sentinel pose will not appear on NBWs.  If you chase a wolf with Sentinel, the pose will just be wiped.  The only way to have the pose on your wolves is to manually apply it (or buy/be gifted a wolf with it equipped).

Ahh alright. I wonder though if there will be any poses on befriendable wolves? I personally think it would be nice to see that variety but I also don't mind how it is now.
