Moon's Shine Lore and Plot Journal

Not much can be remembered of the before time. Life was hard and full of suffering, storms killing pups left and right, wolves fighting each other for food to survive. Not many stuck together, choosing to find a new pack, somewhere they didn't have to suffer. After much hardship eventually a small grotto was found within the grasslands and Moon's Shine was made. A pack of outcaste wolves working together to protect themselves, their young, and each other. 

Year 4 - Fall

It's been a season since the great storms that destroyed this pack. It's hard to remember the faces of those we have lost. Countless pups and honorable hunters. My only pup to survive is Snapping Turtle, he's began his hunting duties and he's getting quite skilled as a chaser. He has great stamina so it is no surprise he takes to it well. Turtle starts a few fights with his fellow hunters, but if they can learn to get along I don't see any problems in the future. Sparrow's kid Powdered Snowfall is also doing well. She has not quite found her place within the pack, but I believe she would make a great pupsitter once the time comes for the pack to have them again.

Willow's Wind is still mourning the lost of Shattered Ice, his mentor wasn't around to teach him nearly enough, but he is improving just as quickly as my son. Shattered Ice was a great herbalist, at least what I can remember of him. Memory hasn't been the same since the storms, but we've found a beautiful grotto where the moon never stops shining and the prey is plentiful, even in the fall. 

I've been having strange dreams lately. Of a place bathed in blue moonlight, it is hard to tell where I am or why I'm here in my dreams, but the dreams have been happening the last few days. I swear I've seen Ice with pups from that realm, but whenever I look to closely they don't exist. She seems to have a great affinity for them and she knows they are there, perhaps she is also having these dreams. I will discuss with her at a later date.
