The Rookery || Custom art for GC! [OPEN]

Heyo! I'm Rook and I'm a casual digital artist who is hungry for GC! 

I specialise in drawing dragons and anything with fur or scales. I'm most comfortable drawing feral animals, but I'm also willing to attempt humanoids and anthros - I just can't promise they'd be as good, aha. 

Things I'm good at:

• Canines, except for small domestic dogs - so wolves, foxes, big dogs, etc. are fine!
• Most mammals, as long as I've got a good reference image or two
• Most reptiles and dragons!
• Wings, both leathery and feathered
• Clean lines and detailed soft shading
• Natural / semi-natural character designs
• Animal skulls

Things I'm okay at:

• Birds
• Anthros and humanoids (kinda)
• Cell shading
• Neon / "sparkledog" character designs

Things I'm bad at:

• Complex clothing / accessories
• Complex gore (blood and scars are fine!)
• Mechs, robots, etc.
• Detailed backgrounds (I can do them but it takes me a very long time!)

Things I won't do:

• NSFW
• Art of real people

Rules:

• Please be patient with me! I go through periods of art block due to mental illness, so I won't always be able to finish art super fast (but feel free to ~politely~ ask for updates).
• Do not steal my work. This should go without saying, but don't trace or claim my work as your own. You may use it as a loose reference, but don't copy it 1:1.
• Ask permission before using my work for profit. I'm open to drawing linearts / adoptable bases that can be used for profit, but you must let me know that you intend to do so and request permission first.
• Payment must be received before I'll send you the final piece. I'm happy to take payment in advance, half-before half-after, or after your art has been finished, but I won't send you the finished piece until I've been paid.
• I'll send you WIP shots! Usually after every stage of the drawing (e.g. after the sketch is done, after the lines, then after the shading). Please let me know ASAP if you want anything changed!
• At the moment I'm mainly looking for GC. However, I will consider doing commissions for SC and USD!
• Prices are subject to change. I'm still figuring out what my art is worth!
• I may refuse or back out of a commission at any time. If I do so, you will receive a full refund! Sometimes I just completely lose motivation to finish a piece. Don't worry though - this doesn't happen often!
