Revisit Custom Decoration 'Tax' Price

I know this post is super old, but it's wild to me that 50/50 seems fair. It's not. You pay 10GC to make the decor in the first place and then there's a 5GC tax once you've put the work in and submitted it? Why?

50% of something you already had upfront cost to make + labor of the decor is pretty unfair. It should be closer to 2% with 10% really pushing it. Reguardless of the size of the decor. Or just no tax at all? You already paid the game to make it.

I was wondering why it was so unaffordable to buy any custom decor. The tax certainly explains it. I'd love to buy more but knowing that for anything under 10GC has 90% of the earnings NOT go to the artist is super disheartening. :/

Agreed! I really cannot understand why the tax is necessary! I get that maybe they want to push people to buy more gold but personally I buy less because of this, because I am not getting what I feel is worth my money and time :(
