Newbie Wishing Thread!

Hello all!

And if you're new, Welcome to Wolvden!

I've noticed a lot of people are forced to chase valuable wolves often that could otherwise really benefit new players getting started, especially when those wolves are still too young to join the chase pool.  And getting started can be tough, so it's always good to have some help, and maybe even make some friends along the way!  Of course, there are plenty of "gift the user above you" threads, but this way a user can gift without having to receive in return.

Who counts as a newbie?

Here, a newbie can be anyone!  Maybe you're actually technically new to the game, or maybe you just feel like you don't have a solid foot in the game yet, maybe you've been around for a while but aren't that active, hell, maybe you do think you're doing okay but could use a little boost.  Whatever the case, don't feel afraid to make a wish, even if you don't think you're necessarily a newbie!

So how does it work?

Simple, if you're a newbie, post a wish!  And if you're an experienced player you may browse these wishes, and if you have something lying around that fits their needs, send it to them!  I will require at least for now that these wishes are wolves only as there are many other threads which provide for or toys to new players.  However, while I ask that you only wish for wolves, by no means am I discouraging the gifting players to not add bonuses to help you out!

Wishers:

Post what type of wolf or studding you want as a gift!  Be as clear as possible, if you're not picky, that's great!  But if you have something specific in mind, or something you specifically don't want, try to make it as easy on the gifters as possible!  Also, don't be afraid to reject a gift if your wish was misunderstood, as long as you're polite they should understand!

Then, once your wish has been fulfilled, please update your post stating such so that others can get their wishes granted!

Gifters:

Pick from any of the open wishes and send over your wolf as a gift!  Label the gift something along the lines of "Wish Granted" so that they know what the gift is for.  Please make sure that the gift in question is what they actually asked for, and if you're uncertain, you can always DM them to make sure!  It can awkward to receive a gift that they cannot use.

After your gift has been accepted, you may DM me to add you to a list of gifters to be recognized on the second post!  If this thread goes well I will be considering doing some sort of thank-you raffles for the gifters using this list, so be sure to message me!

TIPS:

Making your wish more attainable will make it more likely to be granted, although you can technically ask for things like "g1 t3" it is much less likely that you receive anything.

Brand new and don't know what to wish for?  Here are some go to grabs for players just starting:

-High percentage pupsitters (Beware, if they are removed from duty right before the trade they wont be able to pupsit until after rollover)

-Good stat starting wolves for your hunting parties.

-Pre-trained Herbalists to cut the costs of diagnosis and save you some SB.

-Pre-trained Scouts to help you get the territories opened up

-Tier 2 wolves with a lot of markings, for breeding purposes.
