Modify/remove the 1 RO cooldown for pups abandoned to the bear.

Support. Was just coming in here to suggest staggering the pup releases, because it isn't fair for those of us whose rollover is in the middle of the night.

I also like the hourly rotation suggestion, where every user gets shown a random batch every hour. That would make the page a lot less overwhelming as you'll have fewer pups to look at to figure out what they are, and would make it so players who aren't there right as a batch releases might have a chance at the better pups!

Support! Rollover also happens at 3am for me, so its not the best time for me to be awake. Maybe the bear could have something like mini rollovers where 4-6 times a day the pups are updated but any that are still there at the site rollover would be deleted, that way its more fair.

Would the removal of it not be then punishing the early birds in a way? Being you can only adopt one pup per pair bond and the average person doesn't keep around a ton until now, the early people might adopt a pup in the morning and then miss out on good pups being donated in the evening.

People are on at all times of the day. There will be pups donated by early birds and evening goers. You could make the same argument in reverse, with evening goers being disadvantaged by good pups being donated in the morning. With how I think this system would work, you donate a pup and after however many (hopefully random) hours it appears in the adopt area. That benefits nobody in particular because they won't be dumped at a certain time and means there's a constant influx of puppies. Currently there's a big disadvantage for people who cannot play at RO because of diverse timezones because they can't get to the puppies when they drop. The aim of this thread is to minimise the disadvantage for all players

I think that a smaller selection of pups, that appear after a random number of hours after being donated, and that maybe change two or three time a day would be the fairiest and less stressful solution.

As much as it's exciting to be able to have so many choices, yesterday I felt a bit as if the adoption feature is like a second TC, just with fixed prices and only pups for sale. I saw suggestions of users asking for filters to search for specific pups but, isn't that what TC is for?

Maybe I'm too much lore-oriented and romantic, but my first reaction to the idea of adoption was to imagine the bear show me a bunch of donated pups, most of them potatoes, in which once in a while you oh! just find that perfect pup that fit your pack and that you kindly welcome. A hidden treasure, so to speak.

Right now I see the enclave just as a second TC, with people fighting each other to get the better deals.

[EDIT] Of course it all depends on how complicated it is for devs to eventually change the mechanic. If the only way to have a working adoption center is this one, then it's okay. I love the whole pairs adoption idea and I don't wanna sound ungrateful and demanding

I can see this working, but I definitely wouldn't make the cooldown 1 hour. It's too predictable.

I'd either recommend:

-Twice a day. Rollover and then 12 hours later

-Random amount from 6-12 hours

I like all the feedback suggesting to randomize when the pup appears in the enclave so the one leaving a pup for adoption cannot coordinate with anyone when the pup appears. This can be currently exploited to bypass trading cooldown, refill pup's hunger/mood and reset pup's survival chance.

Support! I think it should be like the cooldown for finding a chased wolf in explore, not a rollover cooldown.

Rollover time for me is 2 am, which is fine if I dont work the next day, but there's no way I'll be up if I have to work because I work at like 7 am and I need the sleep.

support! i'd really like to get a good pup from the enclave and have been attempting to stay up until RO (which is 3 am for me) on days when I don't have to be up early the next morning but I have not been able to do it. I feel like currently the enclave gives players in time zones where rollover isn't in the dead of night an advantage.

Support. The enclave is soooo slow and laggy to me right after rollover. Probably because hundreds of other users like me are scrambling to look for a pup they like at the same time. But if you wait until later, then there isn't as good of a selection to choose from
