Territory Patrol ⚔️ New pack roles for unused stat combos + give more packmates chance to levelup

absolutely in support of this! i think it'd be great for wolves who sit around and don't do much (unless you just shove them all into the pupsitter role....), as well as fleshing out stats and such.

Support!

I'm all for giving more of my wolves things to do :)

Support! It's just a silly idea, but maybe this could introduce having patrolling wolves "howl" to ask for directions with something as a little pop up? And depending on the encounter in question, their stats and your choice the outcomes could vary

support.

in real life, and without taking humans into account, wolves are the most common predators of other wolves. packs come into conflict over territory constantly, and i've found myself wishing this was represented better in this game (i actually miss lioden's feature of being able to earn territory slots by "fighting" other players, even though the feature isn't really very developed in lioden).

on top of that i'm a stat grinder and i've very frequently found myself wishing for things to do with spare wolves so they aren't going to waste. this feature would help with both of these things.

COMPLETELY agree on this! This would be utterly awesome. I've got so many wolves just laying around as useless pupsitters and this would be great.

Support! I'm surprised some sort of "patrol" option wasn't already part of the game, considering defending territory is important to irl wolves.

I barely read this before hitting support lmao please god I want to use the other half of my pack without needing to constantly be messing with hunting parties.

I'd imagine you could spin this into a PvP thing, too, like you have a random chance to encounter a neighboring pack's patrol and, depending on the personality makeup, you could walk away with an item as a gift for diplomacy or injured packmates--maybe a scar, wounds to heal at the herbalist, etc. Players would get a notification of which pack they encountered, too. Great for lore! Maybe you get a higher friendly encounter variable if you're friends with the other player whose pack yours ran across. I could go on, but, yeah lol Very supportive of this!

YES. just yes. in general it would be so nice to have more variation in stat distribution rather than breeding for the same 3 roles

I used to have a large pack and half my wolves would just sit their doing nothing.
Now i have downsized to get new blood in the mix but i plan on makeing it large once agian.
