Raffle studs: give them high stats!

I personally agree that 200 is way too low. A 200 stat NBW is something I wouldn't even bother breeding normally, I'd have to train it first. Maybe stats could be another nice "variable" for a raffle stud? One week we get a fancy base and markings stud with 300 stats, the other week it's a T2 with the repeating raffle markings we already had, but it's a 600 stat wolf. I personally don't think the raffle stud should be 1000+ stats, though, as it seems a but OP one person can get a ~500+ starting stats puppy with new raffle features. However, that's just my personal preference and I don't have solid argument to back it up. |

I support. I like unsknown's suggestion -- but I think it should remain on the lower end, 500 stats (100 in each). I say this because, like many people have said, the biggest appeal about these raffle studs is the exclusive markings and eyes that they have. 500 seems like a nice medium to me. Better than a fresh NBW, whose 180-280 stats are laughable, but not too high either. 500 seems like a nice medium/sacrifice, as -- yes, the pups won't be too high in terms of stats -- but the reward here is mainly in the markings and eyes anyway. Having it be 500 is about not punishing stat breeders for wanting pretty/exclusive pups, while also not rewarding them (their reward is the mark/eyes) with something like mirroring the female's stats (which, when you think about it, mainly just further benefits popular, strong leaderboard wolves anyway). |

I don't think they should have astronomically high stats, but something above what you can find in NBWs would be nice, especially since they are supposed to be special studs. Thinking 300-500 stat range or something of the sort? Anything else above that marging would be a bit too high and OP. I personally don't really like the idea of them sometimes having higher stats because I have a feeling this would be a little frustrating and sad, depending on the person. Winning a slot should feel exciting and not have an underlying connotation of ' oh, but it's just a lower stat stud this week ' which just seems a bit disheartening. |

As someone who intentionally picked the hardest biome to live in, high stats are something I need to have in order to hunt for food. Only in THIS generation have I seen 'small creature' scents at all. There is also the issue that there is only so much growth a wolf can have in its lifetime. If we go by hunters, the highest a 200 pup (with pup training and with adolescent training) can reach is maybe 700? Scouts get a better deal, but you can only have two. My lowest pups are around 350+ at birth. Given the raffle is already a very big maybe, having the pup lag behind other pups makes it not worth investing time in. I won a raffle and bred a wolf, but the resulting pup ended up in the Enclave because it would have amounted to nothing in the pack by usefulness. |

Personally, I think the raffle stud just having unique genetics is enough. It seems to me that his sole purpose is to put those genetics out there. It's then up to the winners of the raffle to make something of the wolves that inherited those genetics (train them, breed even better babies with the genetics with them, etc). |

Being able to breed a rare-marking NBW AND have him have high stats? Fuck yeah! |
