Raffle studs: give them high stats!

-Especially for the mirroring the females stats idea.  If you mirror a females stats who has 1800 stats, you suddenly have what equates to a non existent leaderboard stud in the pups ancestry.  This would be way too powerful.
-I also think the percentage of leaderboard studs is not okay for the same reason, you have a G1 wolf father with higher stats than  reasonably possible, undermining the work put into creating G1 leaderboard studs.
-Even if you took a percentage based on the heritage less leaderboard studs I still think the draw of the raffle studs is supposed to be getting those markings into the system, and after that finding a way to create the high stat wolves with those pups is meant to be in the players hands.  It just feels cheap to have the stats handed to you too.

Alternatively:
1)
-As is, each stud has a collection of special traits as is outside of their newly implemented mark.  If there was a standard quantification of the worth of each raffle stud based on these special traits, I think increased stats could be implemented individually as long as they still match the worth of the other raffle wolves.
That might sound confusing, but let me explain.
Lets say each trait counts as 1 "point" and raffle studs are allowed 5 points.  A new mark is worth 2 of those points, an old raffle mark/RMA/Breeding exclusive = 1, Raffle exclusive eyes = 1, +100 stats = 1, special or t3 base = 1.
IE:
-Raffle stud has: unreleased mark(2), merle(1), and 200+200 stats(2), for a total of 5 points
-Raffle stud has: 200+500 stats(5), for a total of 5 points

This is just an example of possible quantifications, but I think its important that unless a raffle stud has no other special qualities it should not have more stats than possible from leveling a NBW with 200 starting stats without the additional role bonus stats. (200 + 420)

2)

If raffle wolves were given a bit more background, with a role in the pack and a level/stat distribution appropriate for a NBW of that role, and maybe a bit of flavor in their raffle page I might not hate the idea of them having a little bit of stats.  However I still believe their stats have to be balances based on what else they bring to the table.  I mostly like this idea because it makes the raffle studs seem more like a pack of wolves like a user would have than a weird male brothel

On further reflection, I withdraw my support for this topic.

I think it's important for long-line wolves to have value, and stats are a major aspect of that. For instance, a G2 pup from a raffle stud will have low stats. But if that wolf works hard, reaches level 20, and has pups, the resulting G3 raffle-trait pups will have higher stats. G4s may be even higher. That's the natural game progression. It makes sense in a breeding sim that it will take generations to achieve the results you want (in this case, raffle marks + high stats).

Compare two studs: a G1 game-generated raffle stud with 200 stats, and a G3 player-bred stud with 1000+ stats. The G3 stud should have more value because a whole lot of player effort went into training up the stud's parents and then training up the stud himself. So I think it's good game design that the raffle studs have low stats. The initial pups will be disappointing stat-wise, but that just gives players something to work on long-term.

I'm having a tricky enough time of getting my stats to a stable enough level of where i want them and have had enough set backs in the stat department as is. I love the raffle studs but they're not appeaing enough as the low stats would make my (And other people's hard work) more dfficult and easily undone.  get that sometimes to move forward you need to take a few steps back but the issue is How many and how often do you want those back steps to happen?

I love the idea of the raffle stud's stats mirroring the female's at least with a resonable stat amount to match to where it doesn't break things.
