Ohh, I wish I had seen this thread sooner! I'll definitely be joining in next winter. :D

@Chimerical Beast, I've almost been hoping for a puppy death so it doesn't look like I'm cheating :P These odds are genuinely bizarre, I swear this game has a secret "luck" mechanic sometimes.

Being that today is the first day of spring, I feel like all the remaining pups have technically succeeded in this challenge. I'd be fine with declaring Sumac the winner by virtue of having the highest survival chance; continuing the game with it only being possible for one pup to survive feels sort of pointless, lol.

That being said, I'd be very interested in a second Day of Mercy, with pup training allowed alongside food/amusement 👀

I'll consider adding that in next year's game but for now I think we might be almost done this year. We'll see what happens after RO and if Sumac is still standing he'll be the winner!!

NOPE Sumac 19 appeared in the wrong place at the wrong time this morning. She had been trampled by a huge, overprotective bull elk and sadly died. This is a great loss for your entire pack.

Corin the Dragoon 🥚 was too eager while feasting last night. He swallowed a sharp bone and ended up choking. No one was able to save him, and he unfortunately passed away.
