Hi! I joined Wolvden a while back when it first opened, but life got in the way and I never logged back in. I'm actively playing now, and mainly looking for help with breeding, tiers, and general info on mutations. I never really got into that side of Lioden, but I would love to do that now here. Here are a few general questions I have
I hope that anyone can help with some of these answers, and maybe more. Thank you |

Welcome back! - You can find a wolf's tier under Base Genetics, e.g. Warm Light I (your lead) is tier I. Tiers influence breeding outcomes. For instance, if you breed two tier I wolves together, you will always get tier I pups. If you breed tier I x tier II, you might get either tier I or tier II pups. Here's a genetics guide that goes in-depth on that kind of stuff, and here's a chart that shows all the bases in their tiers. - In the short term, you can make sc by doing your daily snake quest, fishing, and selling items on the trading center. In the long term, the best way to make sc is by having a good hunting team. Food always sells. You can generally get 2/sc a use for food at the trading center - more in winter, and also more for large carcasses that people need for quests. - As for mutations, some of them (albinism, melanism, and brachycephaly) are inherited, while others are random and extremely rare. For inherited mutations, the easiest way is to buy e.g. an albino pup (they're decently cheap these days) and breed to an albino stud. The genetics guide I linked earlier discusses it in more detail. |
