Here's the fella I came up with! Serpentine is my favorite base so I tried to work with it to come up with a good balance between natural and fantastical.

I find this design so intricate and it stuns me everytime I look at it. ♥

Raffle markings aplenty give this fellow a gently mottled natural look, with a splash of the fantastical in the form of his luminous blue eyes. I like to imagine they betray a connection to that bluebird flying at his side. Maybe he sends his feathery friend out exploring to find wolves in need and guide the raffle studs to the pack! the idea more or less comes from the need to make him feel more 'special' or 'unique' than his peers. the fact he's the only member of the pack that cannot and will not ever be a stud feels to me like he's this ethereal kind of pretty that you can only look at. a 'you wish'.

though, too, comes the idea of making him look different from the studs in this way because i know most will play up to varieties of natural traits, or unnatural sorts that still aren't necessarily unreal — such as brogan ii being pretty pink, yes, but remaining grounded. so, lending dream-like traits to the lead, where it is unlikely to appear in others, makes him feel more intentional in the position. they're the 'dream team' here as it is, the novelty ones — alpha should fit that bill in his own way.

his pack is also super small asking for ungodly large amounts of basic items and i find it really funny to think their leader just does not even begin to understand real-life needs or quantities  a t  a l l .
