Chapter 1 — Choice 3: Results (0A) (1B) (4C)
Sorry this post is a little late — I forgot to mention that I'm on vacation this week; internet connection will be spotty at best.

Chapter 1 [The Hunt] — Choice 4:

Guidonis eyes his ghostly swallows. For undead avians, they have a surprisingly good sense of character. The birds chirrup a quiet yet uplifting tune, an impressive contrast to the dreary marsh around them.

"Chriou," Guidonis greets with a respectful nod. "They like you." One of the three swallows chirps a high note, eager to hear the wolves interact.

"Guidonis," Chriou replies according to custom. "So they do."

Before any conversation can get way, Aruan wades towards the duo, tail flicking irritatedly. "Why must we hunt in the marsh of all places? Leader Mantle himself said that there isn't much prey to be found."

"It's a test," Chriou answers.

Simultaneously, Guidonis responds, "Just do as he says."

A more sarcastic voice grumbles, "Because Mantle's young and hates us all."

Behind Asterlyn, Huāzaeleas pads along, eyes keen. "I doubt he's ever hunted himself. He has no way to know what trouble he's putting us through."

Whose theory does he find most plausible?
A) Chriou's — he's the most knowledgeable
B) Asterlyn's — just because
C) Huāzaeleas's — she makes a good point
D) no one's — let the others continue to speak
