Chased Wolf Chat

I wish I saw more Cool wolves…since there's fewer bases for that category, I feel like I don't see a lot of T2 Cools :( Other than that, I like seeing any rarer markings (regardless of if they're event markings, raffle markings, etc). I also just frankly like any pretty or interesting wolves!

I prefer finding natural wolves too, or monochrome. (Edit: Not the base group, I mean black and white.) The wolves I like finding the least are blue-heavy or merle, there's simply too much of them. But that's not to say I dislike those ones, I'm just pickier in that regard.

Like, this girl isn't what I normally keep, but she be cute though so whatever lol. I can like anything at the end of the day, so I just want to see a good variety.

So this hasn't happened, so far as I've seen anyway, but I'm curious on how ya'll feel about it. If you chase a wolf in hopes of it getting found and you getting it back, but the player who found it does not want to get rid of it like they really love it and wanna keep it what do you think should happen in this situation?

Me personally I think the finder has every right to keep the chased wolf. I lost a traveler by someone having it chased and it was sadly never found, but if it had been found and the player didn't want to give it back to me no matter what I offered yes I would have been absolutely devastated! But, I wouldn't give them any hate for that decision it's their wolf at this point. Her lineage and story had been wiped from existence and she, in all ways, had never been the baby I'd lost.

Tldr; Finder has more rights than original owner to have that wolf

Honestly if you chase a wolf for something special (like a project wolf or a age roll) I think it is kind of selfish for the finder to not give it back to you but that's just my opinion. IF I found a wolf (none of my leads have done it yet) I liked and a chaser really wanted it back, I would give it back, no matter how pretty.

Right and that's how I think nearly if not all players feel on this site, but I'm wondering how'd you feel if the possible few on the site found your wolf and kept it.

What would you do if a 10x black smudge heavy wolf appeared in your befriending screen? Yes I'm talking about him

If someone chase a wolf, it isn't theirs anymore,  it's the one who caught it, plain and simple. It's awesome when people give wolves back, but at NO point should it be expected.

I got my Shian back as an age reroll and was very grateful, but the catcher had been the one to ask if I wanted her back. If they had other plans for her, that's that. Not my business anymore, I have no right to judge. If I cared so badly about keeping her, I shouldn't have let her leave my den in the first place.

Edit: Oh, and I had a wolf I had art for be found as a reroll and the new owner sold him to another. I by no means was upset, I was just thrilled he had been found.
