No breeding daily quests

I also do not like that this quest pops up when you have females in heat, even if you do not have a breeding male set.  I don't want to breed, which is why I don't have a breeding male set.  I also don't have any pair bonds in my pack at all.  So, there is literally no way to complete the quest outside of finding an outside stud.  At minimum, I think you should also have a breeding male set or a breed-able pair bond before the quest triggers, since the quest is to breed "your" wolves.  I'd rather have it done away with all together, but until then, I'm considering moving to an all male pack just to avoid it. 		timber

I support having it removed entirely. Saeginko pretty much sums up everything I might've said perfectly.

I have gotten this quest twice now. The first time I thought it was really weird to have such a quest, and have it be easy, but I shrugged it off and just bred my pupsitter and herbalist together, wolves who were pairbonded only for lore purposes + enclave parents, as I don't intend to breed them and keep their pups. But I thought, whatever, I can just sell their pups as enclave fodder, or use them to get training achievements.

Then I got it again today. I don't like it. I never breed my wolves unless they are at a year mark -- all my females are in heat in their half year mark, excluding one. That one is not pairbonded and I intend to pairbond her in the future.

The reason why this quest is a problem now is because it conflicts with my breeding plans and styles. Yeah, i can pairbond her to who I wanted to pairbond her with, but what if I change my mind on them being mates? I never pairbond until the day I intend for them to mate, and that's not until she reaches 5yrs old. Shes 2yrs.

I could stud her but...Unless I get refunded breeding, I'm missing out on money rather than earning any. And then I have to waste resources giving her extra food, nesting her (or just risking having the pups die, which I never do regardless of if I want the pups or not), and putting pupsitters on the pups (or just risking having them die -- I've never had a pup die or get injured under my care. Not going to start now). Or I can chase the unweaned pups... I don't want to do that

Basically, this quest just conflicts with breeding plans more often than not, and I also don't like how it challenges my morale code lol. 		KittyKookiez [L Off]

I breed my wolves very rarely, and only at certain times, so I just end up buying a female in heat, sending a request to the cheapest stud I can find, and then chase the female

This quest doesn't suit me as I only occasionally breed but then neither does the enclave quest or the befriend an NBW quest - I don't get rid of my pups and I very rarely take in NBWs. That's fine - the amount of SC is so small that it doesn't really matter. The quests don't have to suit everyone. I don't see any reason to remove the breeding quest. 		Coal

A quick note: If you have a breeding male set, you can fulfill this quest if someone else sends a stud request. You could probably post in chat/chatter that you're offering a fully refunded breeding in order to do your snake quest, and I bet someone would be willing to help out. That way you don't have to get any of your girls pregnant that you don't want.

I fully support this, mainly because being forced to breed wolves is kind of annoying. Doubly so when you already have a large influx of pups - no matter if they're already born or waiting to be born.
I mean you could always not nest the female - which from my experience halves the litter size. But that seems callous, and cruel even though these aren't real wolves.
There are so many things this quest could be replaced with. Like A quest to chase out a wolf, or rename a wolf, that could be fun if you're into lore!

I just got this quest. I am appalled it's an "easy" quest, and roughly a daily/two day limit for it! What if none of my wolves are in heat, or can't be spared from hunting/scouting? Or if I already have too many puppies or wolves pregnant and don't want more pups for the sake of a quest? I'd rather this be a hard quest, or else removed from quests altogether.

yeah, i think in general quests that require adding another wolf to the pack are... well, not objectively bad, but i find them annoying. i'm already having severe space issues, what makes this snake think i can afford to adopt an enclave puppy/breed one of my wolves/befriend a NBW?
i don't think it warrants completely removing the quest, but maybe tweaking when it shows up and/or making the reward more worth it? 		MozarteanChaos

I don't support completely removing the quest but I do wish devs would add a lockout for 'impossible' quests. If you don't have a wolf capable of breeding then you shouldn't get this quest.

Similar to if you don't have pair bonds unlocked or made you shouldn't get the quest to adopt pups. And you certainly shouldn't get quests to kill level 15 enemies at level one. And yet you do...
