The Valley of the Lost

The Valley of the Lost is a mysterious place filled with cats who roam as they please. Long ago, many clans used to reside here, but they have since broken apart due to unforeseen changes. Now, most cats are rogues, only caring for themselves and their young if applicable. Perhaps with a bit of kindness, you could persuade them to help defend your clan?

Welcome to The Valley! Here, you can see the world from a stray cat's point of view, and gather more cats to defend your clan! There are many locations to choose to explore, each with a chance of finding rarities and cats alike. Good luck, traveler, and may the stars light your path.

EXPLORE

As you walk over to the valley, a long and shaggy-furred cat steps into your view. They have flowers woven into their fur, and carry with them a large stick entwined with various oddities. Tilting your head to the side in confusion, you open your mouth to ask who they are. However, before your words could escape you, the strange cat silences you with a flick of their tail.

In a voice like silk, they speak, "I am Wren. A traveler who has explored every area of this valley time and time again. You are not the first cat to come here looking for a family, and you will certainly not be the last." They purr, looking down at the gaping ravine below. "I am old now, too old to travel so far, but you…you are not. So I shall make a deal with you, young one. I will tell you how to travel across the valley in exchange for a price. Only enough to keep me fed, I assure you." They smile, gesturing towards a small pile of prey they've collected.

LOCATIONS

The Cove - 4 GC

The cove is the most peaceful and quiet place in all the valley. Most cats come here for a refreshing drink of water, but it is rather close to the entrance of the valley. Commonfolk tend to reside in this area, along with many plants! Nothing treacherous is ever found in this area.

The Winding River - 6 GC

A bit farther from the entrance in the valley, The Winding River is what will appear before you should you follow the water that trickles outside of The Cove. Fish can be found here, making it a fairly good spot for some eats, but during nightfall, the place seems to become barren. You wonder why…

The Cliffs - 8 GC

The Cliffs are the structures that surround the valley. Many cats have carved out holes in the sides of these rocky walls, creating a sturdy home. This place seems to be bustling with activity, but the cats here seem rather unfriendly. Maybe with some luck you'll be able to meet someone here?

The Barren Stretch - 10 GC

The Barren Stretch? Not many folks walk into that place and come back. It is a hot, dry stretch of land that seemingly goes on for miles, and eventually puts you in the dead center of the rock-ridden valley. Hardly any water is here, and the only thing you're able to see are the rocky walls that tower above. Though some rumors say that cats who attempt to live here are keen survivalists…hardly anyone has seen them. Perhaps they do exist, or perhaps not. Will you try to find out?

The Luscious Garden - 15 GC

Ah, The Garden. A magical place full of beauty, prosperity, and life. What doesn't grow here is the true question, as everything is so lively! The cats here are the purest of pure, and their pelts are glistening! They are quite amiable, from what I recall. It is almost certain that you'll find someone here, and they're usually more than willing to go with you. Ah, but, beware though…they can be a bit prissy!
